  1. We were in/under 8 inches of snow last week. Temps at night were single digit. Either water pump froze or minimal amount of water in fresh water tank froze. Regardless, no running water in coach. Used hair dryer to get it working . Now home and none of switches will turn water pump on. Fuse is fine, 10 amp. Any relays anywhere i should be looking for? There was a lot of water in and on coach when ice and snow on roof started to melt. Everything is dry now. Jim McPheters 08 dip 40 pdq
  2. Which of the issues mentioned would apply to my driver's side shade retracting slower than the passenger one. Additionally i have to push the switch, shade goes up a bit, stops and I have to release switch and re press several times to get the shade totally retracted. Any thoughts? 3. I used to walk into the stations and ask the folks staffing the pah center or a manager if one could be found. Very few knew much about the products they were selling. I have given that up and try find labels on the pumps that may indicate the maximum percentage of bio in the pump. Don't believe I have found but once, in Minnesota, any fuel with greater than 20% bio. Jim McPheters 08 dip 90k miles

  5. I have a detached 15 x 30 rv garage with a temperature controlled exhaust fan near the peak on one end. Comes on at about 85 degrees. Only 2 of the walls are insulated and drywalled, the east end and the south wall. I have run my a/c for several hours without any problem of which I am aware. Building is 22 feet tall at center and walls are nearly 15 feet to the trusses. I only run one air at a time. I have never thought about running airs overnight. It's warm here in Southern California, but not like you will experience. Jim McPheters 08 dip

  7. The coolant tank resevoir is seeping fluid from the 2 bolts on the front of the tank. Can I take these out and wrap with teflon tape and reinstall? Is there anything on the inside of the tank holding these in place? JIm McPheters 08 Dip 40 PDQ with 400Cummins
  8. As it turned out, there was almost nothing inside the wood channel. Water lines from sinks were inside it for a few inches, right next to the outside wall, but they went down to the grey water tank almost immediately. I injured nothing cutting out a section nearer the toilet to get the riser to fit. Of course after I reinstalled everything, the water valve at the rear of the toilet started leaking so I removed the toilet again, installed a new valve, reinstalled toilet and all is well. 9. Thanks for the replies, both helped. Jim
  10. In our 2008 Dip 40 PDQ, there is a wooden channel next to the toilet that I need to remove a piece of in order to have room for the riser, i.e. available floor space is too narrow. Does anyone know what is behind there, wiring, tubes, hoses.? I only need about an inch or so of additional space to have the riser fit just fine. I am planning to use a hole saw to remove a section of the wooden channel. I know the water supply line behind the toilet comes through the wooden channel at the back of the toilet.
