  1. Neil, I suggest checking with a broker, Farm and City Insurance Services, Forest City, IA, 641-585-2925 and The Miller Agency are two that come to mind. Over the years I have used both. Bill B 07 Dynasty
  2. With Rick's drawing and where to cut you should use a low sided container to catch the drainage, just don't get in a hurry and you should not make too much of a mess. Also place a bucket under the compartment where the sewer hose exits the wet bay. Bill B 07 Dynasty
  3. Did the valve handle break or just come unscrewed from the valve gate? If the valve stem has threads on the end it should be able to be screwed back into the valve gate. Bill B 07 Dynasty
  4. Bob, as near as I recall the snap disk would cut in about 40 degrees and the system would shut down around 50 or 55 degrees. It has been years since I had a coach with the snap disk system. I now have an Aqua-hot system. Bill B 07 Dynasty
  5. Beautiful coach Richard, you will really enjoy it. Bill B
  6. I had the light come on after an alternator repair, problem was a 5 amp fuse in the wiring close to the alternator. Bill B (that problem was with a 2004 Endeavor)
  7. Steven, The only time I had lots of assorted electrical gremlins in the coach it turned to be the house battery disconnect switch it the battery compartment, it had shorted and would make contact as the coach bounced around. Replaced the cut off switch and all gremlins left the coach. Bill B 07 Dynasty
  8. In my 07 Dynasty the salon TV is mounted on the wall between the salon and bathroom, the TV has a 120 V duplex receptical mounted wall behind the TV, this receptical was used for the fireplace mounted under the TV. The 120 V in the flat floor slide was behind the dinette booth with a duplex receptical mounted in the wall under the dinning table. Bill B 07 Dynasty Squire IV
  9. Open the valve and close a couple of times, there has been reports of trash getting hung up in the valve. Bill B 07 Dynasty
  10. Dave, be very careful about messing with the multiplex system unless you have a computer back-up of the system. As was mentioned, Frank McElroy or M&M Electronics are your best places for help. I have a back-up of my multiplex system that Bill G put on a flash drive for me several years ago. Richard, congratulations on the "new" coach, I am sure you will like it as well as I like my 07. Bill B 07 Dynasty
  11. Corkman, Yes, truck scales will give you a read out that shows each axle weight. Bill B 07 Dynasty
  12. Steven, The only place east of the Mississippi river that I would and do use is Josams Frame and Alignment in Orlando, FL., 407-438-7020, ask for Barry. They have done the alignment on my coaches and replaced the drag link on the 2004 Endeavor that I had. Took about a week to get the drag link. Bill B 07 Dynasty
  13. I believe the RCA cables run from the front entertainment center to the rear TV. The radio speakers are wired separately and may run in the forward and aft in the ceiling. Bill B 07 Dynasty
  14. That's the regulator for the tag axle. How does the coach handle on the road? If the coach is new to you, start with getting the coach weighed at all tires, adjust the tire pressure for the heaviest weight on each axle, then drive the coach, if the coach handles good, you are set, adjusting the tag axle regulator can help to have the coach good. Bill B 07 Dynasty USN Ret.
  15. Number one rule: Chock the wheels when working on the coach. Bill B 07 Dynasty
  16. I also found out low fluid level was my problem with the alarm going off when I made a turn or went over railroad tracks. I found the answer here many years ago when I had an 02 Diplomat. The reservoir on that coach was in the compartment aft of the drive tires on the drivers side. Bill B 07 Dynasty
  17. Glad to hear you bit the bullet, the piece of mind is a great thing. Many of more experienced folks have learned that putting some funds aside on a regular basis will cover the big expenses of our rigs. Enjoy your distilled spirits😊 Bill B 07 Dynasty
  18. Betty, The Nason switch is a fairly easy do it yourself job. Bill B 07 Dynasty
  19. Have the shop reconnect the alarm, then find a shop that knows how to work on a motorhome. As Chuck wrote, your coach, your money. Bill B 07 Dynasty
  20. Are you sure the dump valve stem is screwed into the valve gate? Can you probe the drain line and get up the line past the valve ? Bill B 07 Dynasty
  21. What week in last year?, I would not buy tires older than 3 months old. I have run Bridgestone's and did not have a problem with them. Bill B 07 Dynasty
  22. For a while I carried a big tool box, it was heavy and took a lot of space, I put it on a diet. Most of the tools I carried were never used while traveling. I carry enough air hose for the tires coiled up and secured in the slide out generator compartment. On my Dynasty there is an air hose fitting in the first pass thru compartment. Remember that all the weight you add with tool box and tools takes away from the carrying capacity of the coach. Having the coach weighed at the corners will give you numbers you can use for proper tire air pressure as well as capacity for figuring the weight of the tool box and tools. Bill B 07 Dynasty
  23. The glass can be reused provided it has not etched very bad. I have also used Suncoastdesigners in Hudson, FL. Bill B 07 Dynasty
  24. By all means learn to read the date code on the tires. The guys have given you some excellent advise. I adhere to the 5-7 year life span. Some folks keep the used tires for resale to dump truck owners and recoup some of the cost of the new tires. Bill B 07 Dynasty
