  1. So I began my radiator remove project and it is quite the project. Certainly not one for the faint of heart. Raised the entire Coach 14” to allow for the radiator to come out the bottom, removers coolant and hydraulic fluid and have everything disconnected except the top CAC line. Have about 7 hours into it. Going to take a break from it today except for cleaning up the work area and organizing tools. Pretty ugly worksite at the moment.

once I get it out and get the needed measurements and details I plan on getting pricing from Source also.

  2. $600. 😳. Wow!  I would have signed up for that in a minute. My biggest issue is that I’m too neurotic to have other work on my Coach unless absolutely necessary. The other thing I wanted to do while it’s out is to clean up and POR-15 and paint everything in that area that I couldn’t get to previously with it assembled. Like everything , it’s takes a bit longer doing it the first time and all of my tools are in my workshop which is separate from the motorhome garage so a lot of steps logged going back and forth. I’ll be glad to have it out tomorrow and start the cleaning and detailing while I wait for the new unit to arrive.

  4. It is common that the headlights end up seeing lower than needed voltage and therefore dimmer lights than what they were designed for. I chose to swap out my bulbs for high quality fan cooled LEDs.  Much much better visibility but I still choose not to drive at night unless absolutely necessary

  5. Things like this continue to amaze me regarding the lack of oversight and direction regarding the safety of motor homes by the government.  They are very diligent and focused on automobile safety and improvements but zero input regarding motor homes. I understand that the volume of motorhome product is minuscule in comparison but it doesn’t seem like it would take a whole lot of effort to implement some improvements. Most needed are some regs. regarding Class A rigs

  6. I will be needing to replace the radiator in my 2006 Executive with a Detroit 60 Series Engine. I know I’ve seen a company that makes them on a forum but I’ve done a search and cannot find anything. If anyone knows of a reputable source for a replacement radiator please let me know. Quality is most important to me.

    Thank you!

Jeeesus,  I don't know.  Wife has said I can't get another coach..

Ya. My wife says the same thing but it’s going to happen in a couple years.  I enjoy working on improvements to my coach too but after owning it for 5 years now I’m having a hard time finding things to do.

  8. For the bottom piece I cut it on a table saw. That’s the easy part. For the top I used a Saber Saw and a hand saw very carefully. Then a lot of filing using a straight edge to constantly check for low points. It is tedious and a bit time consuming but for me I felt easier than disassembling the cabinets

  9. I did not remove mine when altering it. After removing the TV I marked and carefully cut the cabinet removing the section that was lower than the adjacent cabinets. Then I cut the bottom off of the TV section I removed just above the corner radius. Then back to the mounted cabinet, I cut more off of the cabinet So when I reattached the bottom again the bottom matched the other cabinets. The cuts had to be precise and clean so that when reassembled it looked original. I was fortune to have doors from the desk that I had removed and they are the perfect height. Now I have a little extra storage for items that are handy to have close to the entry such as gloves, hats and rain jackets

  10. You’re asking the wrong guy as I am only 5’6”. 😂 but I would say that they may be small for you. With that said I would think all of this type is seating may be the same situation for you. If you don’t mind your legs hanging off the end of the footrest I think they will work fine for you

  11. Don’t let the picture fool you. My jackknife sofa was on the passenger side where my sleeper sofa is now. The theater seating is the same length as the desk and associated cabinets were. There is much more room at the dinette than it appears. Same amount as there was from the factory.
