I’m a big Washwax All fan too. Great product and the double sided microfiber setup is the best.

I’m certainly not unhappy with how my coach drives/handles overall. The Trucenter has been on my coach since I bought it 10 years ago but never dug into its workings. Think it was about time I did 😳🙄.

Thanks once again Tom. I would have installed a Watts Link years ago but Mike Hugh’s told me there wasn’t one available for my Exec.
-
Got it. Thank you!!

Thank you guys. I’m still not clear on a couple things. I get how to activate it but let’s say I set it off center because of a cross wind. Does the steering then always remain in this position until I center the wheel and push the button again? Am I right in thinking once you press the button once it always remains active? I’m thinking this is the case and that’s why folks say it helps maintain control of you were to have a blowout

Ok . Thanks guys! I’m fine with just wiring direct but help me understand how it works. If you supply power to it momentarily I understand that it will actuate the solenoid thereby engaging the Trucanter but then what happens? How does it stay engaged? How is it released?

So I’m back up north and found some time to look at my Trucenter. It looks like the relay is toast. It’s a Amperite 12DA/AHDFA. Looks like it’s not made anymore. I’m going to call them tomorrow to see if indeed it’s available or if they have one that replaces this one

I’m going to check what my manual says tomorrow. Paul Maddox from HWH was who told me how to assure proper the proper fill level

Thanks as always Tom for the detailed explanation. One item that I don’t think is accurate, at least for the HWH X Brace slides is that the reservoir should not be full with all slides retracted because the hydraulic rams on the raised floor slides are fully extended in this condition. Therefore when extending one of these slides with a full tank oil will overflow the tank. HWH told me to fill with raised floor slide extended.

That’s your equalizing cylinder for the slide

My coach came from the factory with a residential fridge and it still has the rear and roof vent.
-
I thought he said both battery banks are fully charged?

Usually when a slide creeps it means a solenoid valve is not fully closing therefor it is not holding pressure to keep the slide in place. The first thing I would try is to close the slide and hold the button depressed for a few seconds or so to hopefully dislodge any particulate matter that may keeping the valve from fully seating. Try this a couple times to see if that takes care of it. If not I would replace the valve
-
Good luck. Be sure to come back and let us know how you made out
-
If that works then I would try a different camera at the rear.
-
The best help you will find is on this forum. Other will chime in before long. I look to try another camera next. If you have side cameras maybe you
can swap plugs to see if a side camera works in the rear position and if so you know it’s a bad rear camera or the wiring between the camera and the module.

First place I would look it the Aladdin module that’s behind the dash. Remove the dash cover top hatch to access. Check to be sure all of the connectors are firmly attached. I had an RCA jack there that pulled out.

Considering the year of your coach, they won’t be much help for you. What is the issue you are looking for information on?

The Ugly Fix is a module that replaces the altimeter module. It makes the engine think it’s alway at high altitude and therefor keeps the EGR valve closed. The benefits of this are slightly better fuel mileage, very slight. To me the bigger benefit is keeping soot out of the crankcase. I installed one a couple years ago and the difference in the cleanliness of the oil is amazing. Now my oil is still translucent after thousands of miles. So good to keep that abrasive soot out of the motor

Thanks Tom,
the coach has HWH slides. Hydraulic with the typical electric bed slide. Jack system is totally separate. Since my time left in Fl before heading north is getting short so is the time I have to help him out. I didn’t open the RRB compartment yet. I will look there during my next run to his coach and I will bring the needed tools. Yesterday’s stop was to help him understand the working of the systems so I didn’t bring anything with me. Then the jack situation came up. He wants to take it out for a local weekend getaway this weekend so he will use air leveling for now. I’m sure my phone will be ringing this weekend and there will be a good list of questions and issues to undertake early next week

Yup, sucks. I would still send it back and once a replacement is back in hand post it for sale to recover at least a good portion of your money
