  1. I will finish removing the monitor on Satrurday. I had to remove the radio and the panel that holds the HVAC controls. Now I can see the 4 Philips screws that  fasten the monitor. I have a plastic plug with maybe 5 or 6 wires at one end of the monitor and one cable similar to an svideo that I think goes to the connector marked camera one. I will post a picture on Saturday. I think Tim can make up an  adapter for the camera one cable. But I do not know what to do with  those 18 ga. cables

  2. I finally have the kit from RV acms to replace my Dead Sony monitor. Before I remove the old one  I would like to find schematic for the monitor wiring. The one listed under  08 Dynasty is quite different from mine> I can only see one small sort of s video connector and a bushing on the back of the Sony with a bunch of 18 ga, wires. I did see the connector box for many of the cables. Most are RCA jacks but I think one may be a coax.  Only a few are marked. Tim at RV cams will help me but I need to know what that box does. Where is the connection for the Alladin? Thanks.

  3. Thanks Southpaw. When I googled that switch did not show up. There was one listed that had 3/8 terminals. I even contacted the Mfr.  but they never replied. The  Fastronics is almost the same as original except it has a pin to prevent the switch from rotating. The fastronics was cheaper but if I had known the part # of the Cole Hersee I would have bought one!

  4. I have that new switch in my shop. It is almost a duplicate of the Cole Hersee. Gary Donahue. I think if you start a new thread on your problem you will get a reply. All the house batteries are connected. Maybe your cables are bad. Or the PO changed out 4 of the  batteries and the others are toast. Did you check the voltage of each battery? Do you have a battery hydrometer. Maybe check each cell.

  5. Thanks Frank .That switch is for connecting  batteries as well as a disconnect. I  am going to order the one I mentioned above. It looks like a duplicate of the original cole hersee. The distributer is in the Phillipines. Could be from China but they specialize in race car items so hopefully it will be decent quality. I sent a message to Cole Hersee but no answer yet. The world of automotive electrics has changed . Many companies have been bought out by conglomerates.  Often wonder if this is a step backwords.

  6. Scotty. Thanks for that idea. The switch in the parts list is  for selecting 2 different batteries.  Cole hersee is now part of littlefuse. I cleaned up the old switch and it has 2 1/2 inch poles and 2 10/32 poles. I can see some of the original part #. It looks like 759. The rest is unreadable. I looked in the catalog but can only find a switch with 3/8 poles. I am assuming that my swirch  can handle higher amps. I am still searching. Thanks

  7. I should explain myself better. On an 08 Dynasty with 8 - 6 volt batteries the disconnect switch is mounted to one of the   side walls of the front battery bay. There are 2 switches, house and coach. One can access the back of the switches by removing a narrow plate on the wall of the rear battery box. So the guts of the switch are betwen 2 metal walls. With the rear batteries removed you can just barely get in between to undo the cable. Ther are 4 studs.2 are large studs. 3/8 I think. The other 2 are 10/32. The large cables do not have much play. The small wires can be extended if requires. So the replacement should be the same style. I have not yet seen any part # on the switch. Thanks

  8. The Saga continues. I have a new to me  board  for the charging setup in the RRB on the way. I removed the old burnt board. Then I temporarily connected together   both terminals on the upper small  relay. The inverter is charging the batteries and all the interior lights, slides, etc.  are working. The bottom relay is working. I went to start the MH. It tuned over but would not start. Found a loose fuse and now it starts. But when I open the  FRB all the red lights are on.  I know that some normally are red but should almost all the lights be red? A couple of them are amber.

  9.   Frank. There was some sirt of shirt andsm oke was coming from the  bottom right of the board. I removed it and the board is fine but there is a small black  rectangular device that is slightly melted.I checked for continuity and all is fine. Paul whittle is sendimg me a board and I k now a company here in Mexico that repairs electronicboards. I thought a schematic might help. I really would like to do away withe salesman switch and and that board. But for now I am going to order a new relay and install a board. I am not as sharp as I used to be.

  10. Thanks Frank. So I should reconnect the wires on the lower relay and bypass the upper relay by moving the wire from the right side to the left. In one of my photos there is a heavy wire and a small purple wire going to the bottom copper bar. Is that correct. B When I bypassed the bottom relay could that have caused a short?? I hope the board will still work

  11. I think I made a mistake. I hooked up everything and I still had no lights or12 volts in the coach. I pushed the tiny battery disconnect and the light is not on. Tried 3 times. Then I smelled the dreaded electrical burning. I turnedoff the 2 battery switches and removed the grounds. I will add another photo of the board

The bottom  right of the board  has a small black rectangular item. It isstill intact. I have not checked to see if there is continuity to the board. I gave my other board to a friend so it could be repaired. He is in Yuma and could send it to Tucson.  But I am concerned that there  is something wrong.

  12. Thanks Frank. So if I understand  the 12 volt allen  head bus bar at the bottom is the 12 volt feed to the items listed on the bottom of  your diagram.  I am sure the relay is bad It does not latch. If I apply 12 volts to the right side terminal the lights all work. I think I will bypass it for now. I am in Mexico and doubt I could find that relay. I am surprised as I have never used it  until last week. Thanks for your help!!!

  13. Must be a full moon with all the salesman switch problems. I followed Frank's instructions. I cycled the small switch on the board. The green light comes on for battery disconnect but goes out when you let go of the button. The iso relay light is on and shuts off when the batteries are charged No 12 volts on the right side of the  upper relay. I then applied 12 volts to the the right side of the relay. All the lights, etc. work. It is not very easy to just run a cable from one side of

Sorry I did  not finish . Not enough room to attach a cable from one side of the relay to the other. But there is a copper  that runs from the allen head contact  bar at the bottom.  Are those wires attached to the contact strip the feeds to the circuit board? I could pick up 12 volts from the bottom contact bar and attach to the relay. Or is one of those wires on the bottom contact a feed from the house battery disconnect in the battery compartment.? I have not tested that house battery disconnect yet  as I have to remove 4 batteries. Hope this is clear.
