  1. I spoke to Magnum and there advise was to keep it as cool as possible. Perhaps wiring it so the fan came on with the inverter
  2. Myron thanks for checking this out. I can't see any wear on the terminal rings. So I think maybe it was never connected Going to check out the noisy fan and then wire it up with a lower temp snap disk Thanks for the help Bill interesting buy above my budget
  3. We recovered and re padded our seats using covers and foam from Baurer RV Upholstery. Very nice folks who use the OEM patterns. Not a difficult project
  4. Good points I will give them a call Now we have run this coach 6 years everywhere sans fan. Not sure how long it has been disconnected We did just replace the inverter but it was the original unit so gave many years of service There us a small louvered panel on the inverter end getting air from the space between bays With this fan high on the other. Have not checked but I think it pulls air out Couldn't hurt But I am not too keen on directly connecting it to the battery I will pass back what Magnum says
  5. I have the complete harness located and loose it is not connected to anything. Put a fuse in , hooked up 12v and jumped across the snap disk and fan runs but bit loud The power wire has a good size ring terminal on it. So I think it may have at one time been wired to the house bank at one point So I may go that way We're in south Arkansas so hot summers I am think of on at 105 ? Off 95
  6. The fan runs when it gets power a bit loud The positive wire has a big lug so may have gone to the battery bank next door But the harness seems a bit short I can't seem to locate this on any of the wiring diagrams I have
  7. I located the fuse a large blade type. But there are two wires neither of which is connected. One goes to the fuse but I need to trace the other. Also need to check the fan once iut warms up later this week Any idea where the hot lead was connected Any idea on the temp range of the snap disk
  8. My understanding is there should be power to the snap disk and to test the fan you can bridge across the disk. But there is no voltage to either side of the disk. So if I could find the fuse that may be the issue. I assume the disk works when the bay reaches a certain high temp
  9. I have a small, enclosed fan at the rear of the last bay on the passenger side triggered by a snap disk close to the inverter. No power to the snap disk Can not locate where the fuse is
  10. Getting ready to adjust the door and gathering the parts. The information suggests replacing the door bushing and is the correct size is not available to buy 1/4" id flange bearing and drill it out or have one made. Can't get one made locally here for a reasonable cost . I have tried to drill one out x 4 but cannot stabilize it in the drill press the new drill bit grabs it and it spins in the vise or anything else I try to hold it with. If you put it in the vise too hard the bushing deforms. Two questions does anyone know where to get the correct size or how to hold the busing and drill it.
  11. Tom great info on maintaining the system Got a size question the T105 is slightly larger than the G2C the current ones are really tight in the tray. Standard tray for this model. So how do I shoehorn these in
  12. Getting ready for new batteries First choice us Trojan T105 But not sure my watering system will work with them ? second choice is Durcel
  13. Hi yes it does float for 4 hr Thanks Myron looks like were fine Thanks Guys
  14. Our new Magnum inverter has a level called full charge once it has been in float for a good bit. It goes into this after sitting all night with no load but falls back to float as soon as there is any thing turned on like the furnace or lights. If I isolate the start battery from the system (MilARC) all lights off it drops into full charge mode in about 1 hr Is this an indication the start battery's are getting weak
  15. MODERATOR EDIT Bill, this subject has been discussed many times in several different topics. LOTS of good info here for you to consider. Do a "Battery" search in Topics and you will get 112 pages of posts. NOT THE FIRST TIME this question was asked. This is merged into the last discussion. End of Edit. Our current set up is not holding a charge. They take a long time to reach full charge and drop voltage quickly running only a few lights and the residential fridge. They are 4 6 volt O Reilly's 75 amp 220 min Super Start which came with the coach There 5 years old We do very little Boondocking Need some suggestions on replacement units
  16. Tom many thanks for your reply. I did use your set up file when we installed the new converter. But when I am home I am going to review the settings again Thanks Bill 08 Endeavor PDQ
  17. When we’re plugged in with nothing on in the am our inverter panel will show 12.9 full charge zero amps . Turning on any light and shortly we shift to float charge at 13 .7 various amps. It stays this way showing more amps as we turn lights on etc. As long as there is a draw of lights or heater etc it stays in float charge. Normal ? Once were home going to draw them down to 12 and recharge a few times as described here on the site
  18. Our entry steps operate fine going in and out fine. But once out they have some looseness when you step down on them. Is there a way to adjust this out

    ML ACR

Jim not sure what alt we are running The alt fail might go away with more RPM not sure. But thanks for the information Ken I didn’t connect the brown wire either. I think this is only to isolate things during starting.

    ML ACR

I have to select Off when running the Gen other wise I get an alt fail message. Same message if I start the coach when connected to shore power. We have been running the MLACR three years and love the system
  21. Going to make a trip next week in weather colder than we are use to. Coach is parked under our shed no water in it, pink in the holding tanks light bulbs in the wet bay and tank bay etc. These generally stay around 40 so not worried there But not sure when to add water back into the coach. We have a couple of nights ahead in the mid 20’s before we leave. Plan A Water it up and set furnace at the low setting 40 I think. Leave the lights in the bays and turn on system heat Plan B Leave with no water and add it when we get to a warmer place Suggestions Bill 08 Endeavor PDQ
  22. Thanks Myron. I did find out late Fri who built these valves which are obsolete at Rev. Hope to check availability next week
