  1. FYI Here is a follow-up for all following the thread about my monitors, radio, etc., not working. I want to thank Frank for his knowledge, patience, and diagnostic skills in solving my issue. In addition to the posts yesterday and this morning, Frank called me and walked me through many steps to determine that the latching relay in the rear run bay was working correctly. These steps included the video posted last night and educating me on the different parts. Based on the testing results, Frank determined that the issue was not in the rear run bay but rather a relay on the circuit board in the front run bay. This relay was VCFH. I found a new relay installed, and all of my initial issues disappeared. However, my entry steps stopped working between last night and this morning. Frank had me reboot the CCM by totally powering down the coach. He also had me press the dimmer + switch to ensure that the lights on the dashboard switch modules were all working, which they were. Frank had me check the 30-amp step control or fuse in the front run bay CCM module, F 13. It was getting 12 V. Also try and I could not open the steps by pulling on them while opening the door simultaneously. Frank then suggested checking the controller under the step for power and ground. While looking at the stairs under the coach, I noticed one of the wires going to the magnetic door sensor was not connected. I considered that was the issue. After taking the wires apart, stripping, and reconnecting all of the wires, the stairs opened, extended, and retracted as they should. Thanks, John! Without Franks's help, I would not have been able to get such positive results. This forum and its considerate members are an excellent resource. Thank you all Bill Feeley MIBILL
  2. Frank, I followed the video. I heard a click. Both batt on and off lit up. Thank you. Bill
  3. Frank, None of the ceiling light switches seem to have any power. I'm sorry I don't know what the "latching relay" is. I'm not sure what "small PCB" you're referring to. I will go out and check for power at the lug#10. Thank you. Bill Frank, There is 12v at lug#10. I can't get a new relay until tomorrow when the stores open. I will go out and try cycling the item in the video. Thank you. Bill
  4. Frank, I am not sure what you are referring to about the fuse on top of the battery disconnect. Thank you. Bill
  5. I haven't bypassed the salesman switch. I will go out and check the rest of your message. Thank you. Bill Frank, I went out and could not find LUG#10 I found the relay VCFH. I also found out that none of the switches with the salesman switch, step light, handle light, porch light et al have power. Here are pictures of the FRB with VCFH Thank you. Bill
  6. Frank, There was no LED on at VCF-SW-HSE. Both battery master switches are in the on position. these are the pictures of the LED's on the small board in the RRB. I included a picture of the two boards. Thank you. Bill
  7. Yes. Still not able to locate the issue. I replaced the fuses even though they were not bad. Thanks for the thought. Bill
  8. We have a 2009 Dynasty Regal IV, and I have electrical issues. My Kenwood cameras are not working. The backup, right and left directional and interion. The monitor in the bedroom is also without power. I don’t seem to have power to them, my Kenwood good time radio, or my CB. I have checked the fuses in the front run bay with no joy. Any suggestions would be helpful. We plan to leave MI for FL on Sunday, and I would feel better with the cameras. Thank you. Bill Feeley 586-610-8692
  9. While searching for more information concerning Soft Start and Easy Start, I came across Active Start. I called the number in Florida and spoke with the young lady who indicated they were electrical design people for Soft Start. Active Start allows you to plug into the 50-amp pedestal, providing for all the air-conditioners and other appliances that need a lot of startup energy. So you don't have to have one for each AC. Below is the link to their website. They are having Black Friday sales like everyone else. I have nothing to do with this company. I just thought the information would be valuable. https://active-controls-llc.myshopify.com/ Thanks Bill
  10. Thank you all for the great information. I emailed Micro-Air about a discount for multiple units. This was their reply. ( I have no connection to Micro-Air) I thought others might be interested. Thanks. Bill Hi Bill, Although we do not have the discount details yet, a Cyber Monday banner will be published on our web store on 11/23 with a discount code information. Keep an eye on our web store for deep discount information starting on 11/23. https://www.microair.net Thanks, Sales Administration
  11. Thank you all for the information. I have not decided about the Easy Touch. It sounds interesting! But if it ain't broke... Has anyone used the Easy Start? Thanks. Bill
  12. We have a 2009 Regal IV. It has three Dometic model 630516.331 AC/Heat pumps. They use a Duo Therm five-button control. Others on the forum have discussed putting new AC units in and difficulty getting a suitable controller. I have a related question. I received an email from FMCA about Micro-Air’s Easy Start and Easy Touch Controller. Has anyone installed/used these items? Thank you. Bill
  13. Thank you all. I have tried the battery boost with eng running and off. No joy. Steve, that is my issue need to travel. However, at 90+ and humidity I have to have AC. How did you jump the gen? It is an Owan 10,000. Thanks Bill Tom, Bill Sorry, I meant to address getting under the coach. Normally I would however where the coach is parked I can't. Would those cables be the ground? Thanks
  14. This is Michbill. We have a 2009 Dynasty Regal IV. My four six-year-old L16 flooded Deka's house batteries seem to be toast. The coach works fine on 50amp shore power. However, even when plugged into shore power, I can't get the generator to start. It will give one or two half efforts. Is there a way to "jump-start" the generator? Thank you. Bill
  15. Chris, with Valid 250.832.6477, is an excellent source of information. He is a tech for them. He is willing to listen and try to help. They are in Salmon Arm, B.C. Canada. Good luck. MI Bill
