Tom,,,this is the same symptom I was trying to explain a couple weeks ago on my rig. My rear A/c unit stopped working, so I flipped the breaker off so it would not go on and blow hot air. Then I flipped off the washer/dryer breaker (don't have either) and that's wheny EMS was doing clicky noise too. Reading everything I want to check the ATS, can you tell me where that is located? Thank you, Lolo

Ajax...sprinkle around your tires, they won't cross it -
So, we're on the road now, and when I have the generator running with the A/C, I can't connect to the fridge. I can hear the panel clicking and the A/C will intermittently shut off. Also, when hooked up to 50amp shore, I have A/C running and still can't connect fridge to the AC circuit. Any ideas??

Gentlemen! I got my batteries today, and watched utube on how to replace them...I drew a Map, taped cables and took before photos and after...I'm sure I did it exact but, when I went to attach the main negative last, oooh boy there was a spark,,,is this normal?? Scared the π©π© out of me so I stopped at the last terminal..are you able to tell from photos if it is a good hook up? π€ͺ help!!

Jeff and Tom, I appreciate all your info. Yes, I am learning this as you said Jeff. I am thankful I have all the manuals and utube things to learn. So I'm getting there understanding what you guys are saying. I'm just afraid of damaging my inverter. I don't like the wet batteries you're right. My Monaco doesn't have a battery slide, so I have to reach inside to test and clean the cables. Gives me a headache. Thank you for all your good advice, I'm grateful finding this site!!

I didn't realize it would be so difficult for a 4 pack, but I want to get the right kind. When I bought the rig 2 years ago it came with interstate GC2 Deep cycle extreme. The water in them was almost all depleted, I'm surprised I got 2 years with them, I've kept them on a trickle when parked. I have a Magnum inverter, so are you all saying that I have to get a specific type that my inverter is compatible with?

Thank you Sir! -
Hi all, what are you all using for Rv batteries? I am needing to purchase 4 for the house side. Can anyone recommend what they purchased and a decent price? I donβt care for the Lead acid kind, the cables corroded too easy. Any help is appreciated! Lolo 2006 Monaco Cayman

I will research the receptacle make and get one of those. It could be Leviton, I can't remember. Thank you! -

Thank you Tom, I do set my shore setting to 15a at home, thats the lowest I can go. (My EMS is magnum) It is on a 15a circut. I will try a new GFCI, thats good advise. (I have this recepticle on a GFCI because its outside) The one it's plugged in to is about 4 years old. I've not had this problem until now -

Hi Gary, is that for a 15a circuit, or 20a? My run is only 15a -
Hi all, I have a 2006 Monaco Cayman. When parked at home I step down my power cord and use only 15a for just lights. Recently the FFCI that it's plugged in to keeps tripping causing my batteries to drain. I noticed on my panel (see pic) it's all light up for wtr heater, rear a/c, wash/dry and front a/c. I have none of these running (obviously since I'm only on a 15a circuit) anyone have any ideas why these are light up? and why GFCI keeps tripping? Thank you all Lolo

Thank you all, you are all so very helpful! π -
Hi all, I have a 2006 Monaco and use a car hauler to trailer my Jeep. What kind of braking system do you have in your rig for your trailer, or can anyone recommend a unit? I had one of those small controllers in my truck when pulling a 5th wheel, with a class A and air brakes, is there a specific type of braking system I need for the trailer?

Currently camping and hooked up to a 50A service. My charging panel had "fault" red light. I checked all breakers and inverters and didnt find anything tripped. My panel is showing "bulk" charging, then interment red fault, then charging. My panel will show batteries charged "good", then "fair". I checked with hand unit and read 28v in parallel. This is 2nd campground, first one we had no issues. I have a Magnum ME2012 unit. Any suggestions? Leaving tomorrow from Arkansas to NM.

JDCrow, do you have that number you called for Monaco? Didn't know one was out there -
I just took off the white panel on my 2006 Monaco, thought I had a bad valve. Close off all water, then you have to remove all the faucet fittings by unscrewing them from the back. If you can get your hands back and behind it. Then unscrew the panel. Wasnt that bad, but I got short arms and small hands lol

Gents! I got under my rig and took these pictures. To me it looks like the beefy trailing arms I saw pictures of....what do you all think?
