  1. I'm not sure if what I have found out will be of any help to you or not, but here it goes, I have been in contact with Elite Renovations in Harrisburg Oregon, They confirmed my large slide on the front drivers side of my 07 Monaco Signature has absolutely NO rollers.... It actually slides plastic on wood.. What they do to correct this is to install aluminum plates that the slide will then slide on of which makes it slide extremly easier and keeps it in line. I have a appointment to have my slide repaired at Eite this june..If this is of interest to you I will report back after my repair on Oregon... Happy Trails~~~~~
  2. I can't help but wonder why they made some with no rollers. Guess when I make it to Oregon perhaps I will find out. Seems to be a few of us with slides without rollers..
  3. Thanks Chuck for the info.. I’m definitely going to make arrangements and take the coach to them. Soon as I’m done playing catch up from being gone all winter I’ll focus on the coach problems. thanks again to all that’s steered me in the right direction…
  4. Sounds like they are the boys I need and they should know what's going on with my slide. Also Oregon is a whole lot closer to me than Florida.... Thanks so much for the info Richard..Without this forum I'd park this coach and buy a TENT! Wife might have other thoughts>>>
  5. Thank you Richard, that gives me a place to start for some answers...
  6. Thanks for the reply. Myself like you would be sitting outside Talin’s door if it was a bit handier. I guess there are a place or two in Oregon that may be of help, I’ll have to research that end a bit. From what you said about rollers, I’m thinking I’m in the same boat— no rollers.. I will jack my slide up just to make absolutely for sure I don’t. Will be keeping my eye on this thread in hopes of learning more. I still want Gardian plates but not sure how that works without rollers..
  7. I've been watching this thread with interest as I'm sorta in the same boat. I decided I wanted to put the Guardian Plates on my 07 Signature, especially the slide behind the driver as I'd noticed a small amount of rot on the end of the slide opposite the driver end. So I contacted Talin RV in Florida and they gave me instructions to find The rollers and tell them how many there are on my coach. Well I couldn't find any. Got hold of Talin again and they told me I would have to put a jack on each end of the slide and jack it up a bit so I could lift the rubber seal and look for my rollers. I may add that the bottom of all four slides on my coach has white sheeting of some sort and no marks of any kind from a roller, but maybe they don't leave any. When I was in contact with Talin I was in Texas And I just got back to my home in Alberta and my shop, so I Haven't tackled any of this yet. I should mention also that when this slide is coming in it makes some crunching noise on the end behind the driver. I guess what I'd like to know is--can you get access to what is going on with your slide from the basement. Also, are there coaches with no rollers on the slides.. I'm half scared this slide won't come in one day and I want to avoid that.. This slide behind driver on drivers side lifts up and comes in over top of main floor. I'd be very appreciative of any and all advise---thank you kindly
  8. Thank you Tom for the come back, I will look into that switch, sounds like that could be my problem. At least now I can pull the fuse and shut it down if need be... Much appreciated Thank you Ben, I will look into the Thomas, the one I have now could wake the dead!
  9. Thank you Frank, I just found the fuse that runs that pump, as it turns out it was a fuse on mine. I believe I read somewhere on this site you could get a pump that runs better with less noise. You wouldn't happen to know anything about that would you? Appreciate your help Thank you Thank you Tom for the come back, I will look into that switch, sounds like that could be my problem. At least now I can pull the fuse and shut it down if need be... Much appreciated
  10. Thanks for the info Frank---that is a big help... Appreciate your help and this site. "Priceless"
  11. I'm thinking I have the same set up as Tom Cherry on my 07 Sig for air leveling with the "Power Gear Valid". What happened to me last night was the Pump started coming on about every 30 seconds and run for about the same amount of time. I Cut the power with the power button on my consul for the Valid but the air pump kept on doing its tweaking.. So I'm wondering what I'm missing here or is there some other way of shutting this system down. Now its day light and the pump is only coming on every once in a while, but the Valid is still off. Would appreciate any input on this problem.. Thank you all
  12. Thanks Ivan for the suggestion but mine is acting different. When I tried to retract mine I could see the awning unwind through the window, it unwound to the end of the awning material. From that point on you can hear the awning motor run but it acts as though its in neutral, nothing is moving.. the awning material is just flapping in the breeze.
  13. OK, thank you, I will give it a try…
  14. I'm starting to go crosseyed trying to read anything on this site to do with awnings and haven't come across anything that hits my problem, which is: The awning on the drivers side that covers the windows on my 07 signature, instead of rolling uo it went the other way and is now hanging almost flat against the coach. Its a "Brustor" awning made in Belgium, but Girard supposedly handles them. Phoned Girard and they told me they didn't know anything about Brustor, after having a bit of a go round with Girard they found out they did handle Brustor. They hooked me up with a tech and he told me how to roll it up manually and told me where and how to do that, but, The Brustor I have doesn't have what's needed to roll it up manually so the tech told me there was nothing more he could tell me. So I guess what I'm hoping is that someone on this site may have an idea how I can get this rolled up, or perhaps I need to take it off. I'm not in a panic as I'm in Yuma and will be here another month or so but it's like living in a cave with the awning hanging over the windows on one side of the coach. I'd appreciate any idea's or suggestions that anyone may have and thank you for any and all comments..
  15. Thanks to Frank he figured out a few things on my coach, first off he found a circuit board was missing and two relays were wired in and hanging in place of the circuit board. He said there should be three relays but we only could find two. So, as the story goes one of these relays operated the DRL. I found the wire on the bottom added relay, pulled it off and "Bingo" the DRL went off.. I would like to thank anyone that answered my call for help and especially Frank, I so much appreciated the help.. Ive been stewing over this for a few months now. Makes me wish I'd joined this forum long ago and now that I have I'm sure it will save me a lot of heartache ..
  16. thanks for the reply.. The only parking brake on this coach is the maxi Brake---and you're right, when the air brake is dynamited the driving lights should go off, that's how they all work on hi way tractors, but not this coach...
  17. I thank you so much for sending me the picture.. I wish my compartment had that but it doesn't. What I do have is two modules about the same size as your Hamsar that almost look like add ons, they are hanging out between one of the rows on the circuit board. one has five wires to it and the other has four. Nothing labeled as DRL... But maybe its one of these??
  18. Thanks for the response , I would like to do that but if there is a DRL module in there we have not been able to find it. We sure have been looking...
  19. hi everyone: I'm about at the end of my rope trying to figure out how to shut off the DRL on my sig, having them run during the day is fine with me but when I pull into a place at night and want to keep the coach running for whatever reason the day time running lights are on. The only way I can shut them off is by shutting off the engine/turning the ignition off. I've searched everywhere I can think of for a relay/fuse, anything to disable the DRL. Would be very appreciated of any help on this problem. Also I'm new to this forum so hope I'm going about this in the correct way. Also I am from AB, so it is the law but I'll deal with that once I figure out how to shut them off! Dexter W 07 monaco Sig
