  1. I've run Toyo's and Continental on my other motorhome but this one came with Roadmasters all around and I can't say anything bad about them. I'm replacing the rears which are 8 years old, I know pushing it, but still no signs a sidewall cracking and wore very well. The fronts were put on when I bought it and are just over 3 years old now so I will run them another year or so before I replace them. Ride is good, price is right as well so I may just put them back on the front too.
  2. Sea foam is a good product but I would probably put some Stabil in the tank if it’s going to sit at all. Hope your husband makes a full and speedy recovery so you can go out and enjoy the RV and not worry about this stuff.
  3. I've driven with worse windsheilds then that one.
  4. Mine will be getting parked soon for at least 6 months and I won't be starting it at all. Do it every winter the same way.
  5. I wouldn’t trust your gauge, mine doesn’t work right and we had several when I was an equipment manager for a steel company that failed. We used Donaldson for everything and our equipment worked in a dusty environment .
  6. Putting the dash back on is when they usually get broken and most times it from over tightening the screws.
  7. I haven't seen any on the 98's but have been told that the 97 Dynasty is pretty much the same so maybe that will help you. https://www.monacoers.org/files/category/24-wiring-diagrams/
  8. Did you look in you're wet bay? That's where mine is on my Windsor.
  9. Like Lusgi said it could be seized which is common. If not try putting 12v to the solenoid valve which should be towards the pass side. As for wiring diagrams I don’t think you will find much at all of our vintage unfortunately.
  10. Tks guys, I keep forgetting about the Acetone and trans fluid. If I remember right WD40 came from that somehow didn't it?
  11. Figures, doesn't look like I can get that from Amazon up here in Canada. I do have some Areokroil that sounds very similar so maybe I'll give it a try for now.
  12. Never heard of Pipe Break and mine are real bad too. I'm afraid I might break the fibreglass trying to open it.
  13. Thanks, mine are the same, now I just have to figure out how to do the ones in the middle.
  14. You may be right, it's raining right now so I'll have to wait for a couples days before I can tackle opening the slide. They are so bad that I can barely open or close the slide. It's been on the to do list since I got the m/h and now that I have the priority jobs done I'm on to this one now.
  15. Thanks Jim, guess I should have said does anyone know which ones I need. Didn't want to take it apart until I had the new ones in hand but I guess if I have to I will.
  16. I tried a search but didn't find anything on them so now I'm posting here. Anyone know where to get the proper rollers for my manual genset slide out?
  17. I like but might have to build a set for the shop before I show the wife. 🙂
  18. The winch is attached to the frame and the handle is loose on mine. I'm sure others will jump in that know what to do when they see this post.
  19. Did you look in the bay opposite to the slide for the winch? That's where mine is. Hope someone can chime that can help you out.
  20. Hope it all works out for you. I have a tree close enough that could do some damage that needs to come down. Maybe I should get on that pretty soon.
  21. In case anyone is following this here is an update. I changed the fuel filter and reset the TPS then went on a 30 mile drive where it seemed to shift fine or at least much better then it did the last time out. Nosmo, I looked at my instructions for the King Cruise and it showed it being in the last hole. The only thing it said to make sure was that the arm was at 7 oclock when installed on the shaft. So for now I'll leave it there and if the shifting isn't right when we leave next week I will move it then and see. Unfortunately on this test drive I took a good size rock to my windshield :(. I think its covered by my insurance but getting someone to do it around here is another story. Edit: I don't know if I was looking at the manual upside down or what but after looking again I was totally wrong, it's supposed to be exactly how you siad Nosmo.
  22. It's been hit and miss for us for awhile and we're not on the road. Lots of times it says "out for delivery" but never arrives and it always seems to be the one I'm waiting on to finish something.
  23. Thanks Stephen, I wonder if that could have something to do with mine as well. I have it in the last hole which is where it was before I took the pump off to fix the leak at the throttle shaft. The po did have it repaired once too so maybe he put it in the wrong hole as well. First thing I'm going to do is change the fuel filter just because it's been a year but it can't hurt to try moving the cable as well.
