Both of my previous gassers had 2 salesman switches, one for coach batteries and one for chassis  and I would just use that for storing it during the winter and never had problems. I guess I never had any other draws when it was shut off like you do.  You can do what Bob suggested but I would try to find the draw as well.

I actually have the opposite problem from you where my coach batteries go dead if I'm not plugged in and forget to shut off the inverter. My steps work off the coach batteries as well so maybe yours do too.

Do you have a switch in the rv that disconnects it? A lot call it the salesman switch.

I might do it that way next time but I have a two part kit sold by Thetford that I will need to use 40 oz.'s of it for my tank that I'm going to try this time. I already have one hose made that I use to put the antifreeze in the rv for winter so one more hose is easy and the plug for the pump is close enough I don't need to use a battery to run it. 

Thanks for the speedy reply. I never thought until now I can use my spare water pump I keep in the rv.

Maybe I'm missing something but without a pump how do I get the bleach or whatever I use into my fresh water tank?

I didn't buy it either. I downloaded TruckMap awhile back and am going to try that with my IPad on my trip back east next month I guess.

Thanks for posting this Frank, I was thinking about this not long ago and had seen some of this info but couldn't remember where.  Do you know if the outside handle is the same part #13438-04 on a 98? I it's discontinued but there is a replacement for that part # and for the price I was just going to order one since mine is original and has been well used. 

What are your thoughts about it for those who own it? I was going to order one but read a bunch of the bad reviews and didn't know if it was that good. The majority of the reviews were good but still quite a few that most had the same complaint about the routing it would give.

im going to try the Napa store as they are up here in Canada as well.

so far the Donaldson was all my regular Lordco supplier could cross to but it’s not able to take the lower bowl for sure.

You're better off to go to a Traction if you have one near by. They are Napa's truck division and should be a little cheaper.

I tried to listen to it but it said a virus was detected when I tried to download it. Have you noticed any loss in boost?

Anything that's not coach related gets done at a commercial truck shop if I can't do it. For a gasser a lot of automotive shops will do it too if they have room and they are usually cheaper.

I always have brake clean around and use it for small stains.

For braking - I use RVI Brake2 (it was also included).  To power the RVIBrake I originally used a jump start battery that had a 12v outlet - later I made my own lithium battery w the 12v outlet - plus lots more stuff. 

I really like my setup - it’s easy, and I could tow my Jeep behind any vehicle with a 2” receiver (well any vehicle that my family has - they seem to all have big trucks).

I went the same way except I have the Brake Buddy but love the bumper and ease of hooking up as well as disconnecting. Plus like you said nothing hanging down to get caught when we do a little 4 wheeling in the mountains. 

Well I'm only turning 63 this summer so not as old as some on here that I hope to be able to do what they are at their age. Fortunately I have a friend I use to race with that owns a diesel repair shop so I can take it to him if needed and still sleep at night knowing the work is being done by someone I trust. Saying that I still try to do all my own service and repairs on all the motorized stuff we own.

I'm guessing the same thing, I use to do wiring on stretch limos a long time ago and that's how we built the main harness.

Looks like the fuses above are for that relay circuit. I would start by pulling those one at a time and see if the draw goes away.

I just brought a Super C from Ont. to Ab. and paid 2.45L Cdn which converts to 7.20 US for a US Gal. in Ont. 

Best way to Alaska Nvrtoofast is through Ab. where for now we have the cheapest prices in Can., I think it was still 1.80L Cdn. when I looked on Friday.

I did that one time in a pretty hard rain storm and drove 5 hours to get to where I was going at night. The rainx worked great.
