The main Awning on my 01 Monaco Dynasty Jack goes out great, but retracts very slow and when it gets to the aluminum shield we have to give it a little help to finish roll up. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You can google a manual for it.

If you look close at the first picture it shows three screws on the left side and there are three on the right. And if I remember right there are a couple in the top at an angle. I took it completely out and took into my shop and cut it down in there. This what it looks like now

Did you do the work yourself. Looks really nice

You will probably have to open the control panel in the center compartment and see if the first 15 amp fuse is blown. That’s what happened to my 01 Dysnsty

Has anyone added out side speakers under the awning on a 2001 Monaco Dynasty ?

I did mine in a 01 Monaco Dynasty. I took it out cut 4 1/2 inches off the height and 3 1/2 inches of the depth and put a swing out bracket on the 32” flat screen.

I could have gotten the relay from Amazon for around 11 dollars but decided to use my local parts store it was more, but I like shopping close to home and they had it. I would have had to wait 4 days for Amazon. Thanks again for all your help it is truly appreciated.

So, hopefully this is the final update on the slide power, I changed the 87a relay and the slide is working as it should. Thanks again for your help on this mater.

What kind of cable do I need to go between the Wally and TV. I bought one from a friend and it doesn’t have that cable.

Here’s what I’ve found. Brake light works when applied, gen slide works great, ground on number 18 wire is good on solenoid, I tested #2 terminal on switch when slide goes out there is power on it, I then put power to # 5 on switch and slide works, then I checked both safety switches on the two doors that have them they both tested fine, I then made two jumper wires and connected the wires on the switch’s and it still wouldn’t work. I’m now in the process of checking the relay in the rear compartment. The fuse breaker is good and I have two 87a relays one says bed slide the other says slide out. I have power to both put the one that says slide out has no power to the #85 terminal and it has blue with white stripe wire on it the same wire that the safety switches have on them, I then put a jumper wire on the blue and white striped wire and the slide works. I then hooked both safety switches back up like normal and re hooked the jumper wire back up on the blue and white wire and the slide works. My suspicion is that the relay is bad on the slide out, the bedroom slide still works, if anyone has a thought on this I would greatly appreciate all the help I’ve gotten and continue to get. I hope I have explained this good enough to help. Thanks Steve.

These are out of my 2001 Dynasty wiring Diagrams. haven’t had time to put power to the switch on the control panel.

Thinks for the print, I have no power to the switch on the panel above the passenger set . My bedroom slide runs on a 12 v motor under the bed. It’s working. I did put two jumper wires on the door switches and it still didn’t work.

I got my friend home from the hospital and checked the fuses on the hyd motor by the generator, They are 15 amp and there both good. I have power on the front side of the 12 V solenoid and none coming out to the fuses.

I believe it’s a hydraulic slide. I will have to check that. I checked them when I got home from the hospital this evening I have a good friend down there o put a jumper wire in both of them and it still won’t work.

My living room/ kitchen slide won’t work. I have the control panel out and there’s no power to the switch. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is ou my 2001 Monaco Dynasty Jack 38

I went to Best One Tire and Service, I ask them to check the dates on my tires, I had one that needed changed. He told me the front steering tires were 2010 and the rear tires were 2006. The Guy I bought it from told me they were two or three years old. All they sold was RoadMaster 295/75r 22.5. So I left with 6 new shoes on my 2001 Monaco Dynasty Jack 38.

Thanks for the info I’ll probably go with the Toyo Serbs like everyone liked them. the couple I bought the coach from said they were only two years old, he got hung up and put bricks under the right rear tire and it really messed up the tread in the center of the tire.

What kind of tires is everyone running on the rear of there coach. Mine is a 01 Monaco Dynasty Jack 38. 295/70r 22.5s.
