  1. Done just swapped out the old part with new. The top connection to the door was attached with rivets. Stop over at my brothers got her all wrapped up. Nice and stiff door for many miles. To come.
  2. Ok back on the Hunt. I did turn off the manifold and the pump still sounds as if its running. So i know its not a water leak. I am going to dig a bit deeper on this. I agree its Air getting in somewheres. Just cleaned out the flowjet that feeds the pump. I doe see water moving in the top of the flow jet when i turn on the pump. I am getting closer for sure. OK I pulled a Rookie Move. I had my wife help me pack up the last spot we left. And come to find out She did not shut off the fill valve on the other side of the coach in the Wet/Electrical Bay. Cap was on the City fill hose but was sucking air in. I turned the valve and the pump stopped. And now i have great water pressure again. I really need to make a Sticker with Arrows that say what direction that thing needs to be so when i ask for help I can say what position it needs to be left in. LOL Problems Solved. All things in working order. I should have checked the simple things first but the Pump is on the passanger side and the fill valve on the other side.
  3. This might make more sense to me. I recall we had great pressure before. We have been on city water most or our trip. But now our water pressure does seem a bit weak. If its the accumulator then it should be replaced. Going to dig around to find it see what model and such before i head to town. Might get lucky and find one.
  4. Ok yea i think i recall seeing the pressure tank back in there. Time for this big guy to go Spelunking. LOL I like the thought of purging the air in the lines too. Any good recommendations on purging the air. I will definitely look into all these options. I am sure its one of them.
  5. My water pump sounds like it’s running non stop. But I don’t see any leaks or water any where. going to try and turn off things on the manifold to see if I might be missing something. But the post about the diaphragm got me thinking of that could be my case? any good thoughts on troubleshooting? I can look in the manual but of the top of someone’s head where would Monaco put the pump on an 05 executive? thanks in advance. Currently 3k into a 5+k trip things going smooth so far small fixes. But the pump thing started at some point and was not sure if I heard it run before.
  6. With this feed back i have decided to order a new hinge. Yes costly. But going to pull the old one out and fix it up for a spare. Then this coach and its future owner will be in good shape for years to come.
  7. Came across this post. I too have a swing arm that is starting to give way. Just bought the parts to do the Gas Strut Modification. But a bit leery of adding this mod. Wanting to keep the coach nice an clean looking with out too many odd ball adds. I need someone to either convince me of either direction.
  8. I just got a update on my quote and found out that AO does not want to do a Mono policy. They want my autos as well. I think i am going to give them 1 of my vehicles to quote. Maybe i will get a better rate on both?
  9. Well ice ice baby strikes. It was iced over it was a great lesson to experience. Thanks for all the support. 😀
  10. That is my suspicion at the moment. Everything points to that good thing we are headed to warmer today will hope tonight is successful.
  11. Ok Update. Had the wife run the slide out while i was looking outside. Looks like my Topper is holding things up. And the Topper has a bit of ice on it. Yes we are leaving cold country headed south. And it did snow just 2 days ago. i think as it was thawing today water got into the topper. And while driving in Temps close to 25-30deg. It may have frozen the topper. Short of getting a Torch out. Going to see if it thaws out. Unless someone knows something else that could be the issue.
  12. My bedroom slide is not working properly. I will work on searching to see if i can find a fix. In the mean time. It starts to go out. Then about 3/4 of the way out the top of the slide stays in and the bottom keeps going. I am afraid to keep the button pushed any longer and it looks like its jamming up. But there is nothing on the top. Unless my Slide Topper is Broke holding it back is the only thing i can think of? We are on the road so i guess we are sleeping with the bed IN tonight. Any thoughts or suggestions much appreciated.
  13. So assuming you have an idea of what happened. I have no clue. But always interested in the issues.
  14. Kraxsglass I think was the name preferred and recommended up here in Idaho.
  15. Had mine replaced late last year. Drive it a couple of times seems like i hear more wind from the window area. Yesterday i was at the coach and see a large gap between the Seal and coach body. Called the company that replaced the windshield they are going to send someone out to fix repair this. Hope its not a big issue. Have a large trip coming up next week for about 2 months. So i will be road testing it. LOL
  16. Thanks for your post. I am sure it opened many eyes. Including mine. Currently with NG. I started with Auto Owners in my area found a broker that writes for them. He gave me 3 quotes Auto Owners $935, or $813 if paid in full. Safeco $1,345. Progressive $1,987 or $1,883 if paid in full. I am currently around $1900 with NG as of this last year. Needless to say i am moving over to Auto Owners from NG. I called and talked with my All State rep just to see if they could come close to the AO quote. She stated that NG is an All State company and nothing she could do. We talked about the policy with the same coverage. And i quote she said got with AO. Dropping NG does not affect any of my other polices. The way i am going to look at this is i had Windshield replaced last year. Figure that was my buy in paying the high rate insurance. At least a way for me to justify it.
  17. I hear you. I did add it to mine as i dont have solar set up yet. So it will be added insurance once i get to solar. Plan is upgrade inverter to Victron and Solar will be the next steps. I think the inverter is going to be the next by far. I think the current one in my coach is long in the tooth. Its the Xantrex RV3012GS Still kicking.
  18. GreyGoose i will tell you i have the same issue with bluetooth from Victrons stuff in the engine Bay. Likely due to all the metal and heat shielding. And the Lithium batteries with bluetooh BMS in the Metal battery compartment. Range is horrible. But i live with it and trust the $$ system that i chose to do the job. It would be nice to see the data while in motion. Now if the Cerbo has bluetooth connectivity to devices like Chargers and such. That would be one way to get the data to a display.
  19. I connected the Victron BSC direct to the chassis batteries. I forgot to take a photo. but will do when i am back at the coach this weekend. I mounted my BSC to the left of the engine bay. and routed the wiring along existing loom. Also in new loom to the battery. Mounted to a piece of sheet metal existing above my radiator. I will grab a photo of that and the DC-DC charger. Made a quick mock up of what i did. **Note your coach might be different. This is how i did my design. Every thing in Loom. So when its dirty it will looks factory. LOL
  20. @John C This sounds something similar to what i just did. However i did not use 2 DC-DC converters. 1st -Installed Victorn DC-DC Converter to charge Lithium from alternator when the coach is on and running. 2nd - Installed Victron Blue Smart Charger. Plugged into the Heater Block outlet. (i know its switched) (yes i disabled by big boy relay) Here is my personal theory behind this other may disagree but its the way i am rolling. Both generator and coach start from the Chassis battery. So if i cant crank over the coach. I have been successful in starting the generator. Then i can turn on the inverter. And Flip the switch on the dash (for me) says Block Heater. And it will turn on the Victoron Blue Smart Charger. Charging at 17a in a short time i should be able to have enough juice to fire up the coach. Yes i did unplug the block heater. If i ever need it i can plug it in. But i can also use my Aqua Hot to warm up the block as its an option on my coach. I can also turn this switch on while on shore power to keep the chassis batteries charged. With the smart charger it will keep the topped off. And i dont have to worry about over charging or turning the switch off if forgotten. Not saying this is the right way or wrong way. But its 1 way to accomplish what you are speaking about.
  21. Well in light of this topic that has grown. I did complete my swap to Lithiums for my house batteries. - Installed 2 x 12 230ah lithiums - Removed 1 wire from Big Boy Relay to disable old school bird from charging. - Installed DC-DC Isolated Charger with 2x60amp resettable fuses 1 for incoming other for outgoing. - Unplugged Block Heater. Plugged in Victron Blue Smart Charger. Since this is controlled by switch on dash. I will use it when plugged in to shore power or Genny Running to keep chassis batteries topped off. ( i did find out both engine and generator use chassis battery to start. Worst case if coach will not start. I should have enough poop to start generator and flip my switch to start charging the chassis batteries.) I will see how things go with new batteries. Dont expect any changes. But now i think i know why someone mentioned moving one of the output lines on the Inverter to power the AC units. Those dont seem to run when on Battery. Something to dive into and tackle down the road if needed.
  22. Never thought about 24V. but for my simple upgrade 12v it is. I will be completing the swap tomorrow on my 05. Installing a DC/DC converter and a Charger for the Coach Batteries from the Engine heater plug. And will be removing the Trigger Wire on my Big Boy Relay. I will think it though if i change out my Inverter Maybe do another upgrade to 24v. But i dont boon dock much and the wiring is in place.
  23. I think the DC to DC is the better way togo as well. Your going to spend the same amount for the BMI or DC-DC so go with the better of the two.
  24. I think the Victron has 2 x 120 outputs? Have not dug into that part of the swap yet.
