  1. I've avoided over-filling the tank to the point that water is pushed through the over-flow pipe. Since then, I've never found standing water in the wet bay. I can only guess the overflow pipe somehow allowed water to escape into the basement area. Bill R's suggestion to fill the tank in increments until a leak appears is a good one. Hopefully, it's your overflow and not the tank leaking.
  2. That's great news Doug! Coincidently, last week I also noticed water in my wet bay after overfilling the fresh water tank. The leak stopped when I drained the tank to 1/4 full. This thread gives me some hope it's the gravity fill or overflow hose and not a leaky tank.
  3. Great idea Bill R! I'll definitely do that. Thank you.
  4. A few days after filling my fresh water tank, water started to pool on the floor of the wet bay. I don't see any water leaking from the three connections to the tank (fill, drain, and gravity fill) that are visible in the wet bay. The overflow connection is not visible, but I assume it is not leaking, since the tank only about 90% full. So, maybe I have a hairline crack in the tank. Has anyone removed the fresh water tank from a Neptune or Cayman? Any tips on how to remove it? Mine sits below the black and grey tanks. Thanks -- Steve K, San Diego, CA 2008 HR Neptune 35
  5. I painted my clear skylight using white Rustoleum spray paint and it greatly reduced the heat on sunny days. One coat of white primer followed by a coat of regular white. No matter how carefully you apply the paint, it will still look blotchy when viewed from the inside, but I'm still very happy with the results. I followed the example from this guy...
  6. When I perform a Search, the results often include many matches from the same Topic, and takes more time for me to sort through. Is there a Search option to collapse the results so it list only one match per topic?
  7. Nice job! I'm very hesitant to travel at night with our stock headlights, so would like to install these on our RV. Could you please post a photo showing how the light is mounted to the RV front cap? I'm having a hard time imaging how you can adjust the spot light in both the X and Y axis using the bracket that is included with the light.
  8. The center section of my ladder was damaged by the previous owner backing into a tree. I purchased a generic RV ladder from Amazon for under $200. Because the generic ladder was not a perfect fit, I reused the top portion of the factory ladder where it rounds over the top and bolts to the RV roof. I replaced the damaged straight section of the factory ladder with the straight section of the generic ladder. I used an inexpensive plumbers pipe cutter to cut the ladder sections. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006ERQ1JW https://www.amazon.com/RIDGID-40617-Quarters-Tubing-Cutter The generic ladder was about 1 inch narrower than the factory ladder, so that required drilling some new holes to mount it to the RV body with pop rivets.
