  1. I agree, a bare wire, a loose plug-in connector. A cautionary note: I just replaced the controller, at an RV Repairman’s diagnoses, HOWEVER, it blew the fuse again after the new controller was installed. A burnt spot on the plug in connector to the controller on the coach side was the culprit. Guess what, no refund on the newly installed Controller that I did not need, ALSO, no break on RV Repairman’s Fees, he said, “Would have never found the bad connector without replacing the Controller”. I told him “ Give me the old controller there is apparently nothing wrong with it”. Trail and error method, as opposed to testing connections to assure the Controller was getting volts it needed.
  2. Thanks, Found it, replaced the far left Solenoid Valve after testing it, it’s working now, very valuable answer, Thanks Again!
  3. Sorry, what are you referring to when you say 6 pack? Are they the Airline valves in the rear in front of the engine? If so, Rev Group has told me they are obsolete, is there a source for them?
  4. I must be misidentifying the Firestone Intelliride Control Module, it is mounted under the Drivers Left Hand switch and shifting dash. It has been referred to, to me, as an ECU, and as an ECM, I am unsure which one is correct. It connects through a 9 pin connector to an older style Laptop, I have a Dell 2000, and I have downloaded the software to access and program the Firestone Intelliride Control Module. It diagnosed a Voltage spike on the LR Height Switch, it will not accept any searches or allow me to set anything, I assume that may change when I can get the LR voltage problem fixed. I can fill and calibrate each Airbag, but cannot lock in the settings at this time, voltage repair may change that as well. At this time that is an unknown. To anyone reading this with problems with their control module, Drive Rite says they can no longer reprogram, or restore one that is “Locked”, or just no longer working. However, they said they are working on a “Patch” that will allow their current Control Modules to work on the 2005-2006 HR’s and Monaco’s, and it will be available soon.
  5. Thank you for your feedback, you and I have been down the same roads searching for answers. DriveRite has been of some help to me in the past, however had they have furnished me ALL the information they had in a more timely manner it would have saved me time and money. Wednesday an RV Repairman and I after 4 hours of frustration decided to quit, and search for more knowledge, we had a LR Voltage fault, and could not find out why, something was amiss. In an email exchange of messages, very early Thursday AM, with Ireland they shared two pieces of information they had never given me. When I had an inside dual blowout from a road-hazard in 2019, the tire tore off the LR Height Sensor. A Roadside Tire Repairman made a temporary fix, he plugged the airline to the Left Rear Airbag in the air manifold by putting on a short airline with a shutoff valve. He then put a Tee fitting into the right side airbag airline and connected it to the left side Airbag , it worked, we were on the road again. I purchased a replacement Height Leveler from Drive Rite, in fact I bought four, one I had installed the other 3 were spares as I was told they were scarce. They were Universal, but came with no instructions. I had the LR installed, wouldn’t work, reverted to the previous repair. Had three different RV Repair Shops attempt to fix the problem, each reverted back to original repair. ‘Ireland Thursday, March 28, 2024 finally furnished a piece of information I should have received in 2019. The Universal Switch requires moving a ground wire from one pin to another in the plug in, the original switch has six pins, the new one only three, but one wire in the harness plug-in has to be moved, and they had a flyer showing how to do it. It did not come with the switches I purchased. PLUS, I was told if you change one side due to malfunction, you have to change both RR and LR sides at the same time. The linkage on the original Switch and the Universal Switch are a different length. Original Switches were specific, there was a RR Switch, and a LR Switch and were not interchangeable. Originals were made of plastic, Universal made of steel. In this case, what is not broken, gets fixed/replaced as well. That knowledge would have saved me a lot of time and money had it been timely. A few weeks ago I found a man who had a brand new, never been used, ECM, I exchanged a part I had for it, as a bonus he sent me a new original Height Sensor, looking at it I realized it was a RR one. I contacted him, ask if he had the LR, he had sent that one to another guy he was helping, he thought they were universals. I contacted the man who had the LR, offered two of my new Universals, including the wiring flyer, for it. I told him if he ever has a need to change his, he has to change them both, the one he had would only help him if he needed an LR, we are exchanging parts, I will have brand new, original RR and LR switches this week, I am 99% sure it will solve my voltage issue. I am hoping it allows the Software to set and lock-in the Ride Height settings, this is now my “unknown.” My need now is more information, than I have, on how the Software works, and what all needs to be set in a NEW ECM that has never been programmed before.
  6. I also have a 42 Ft Holiday Rambler Imperial, In November 2023 I was stranded for 11 days, rear Airbags would not fill. Purchased an Air Manifold from Drive Rite that was diagnosed as the problem by a RV Repair Service, I was concerned about the dash switch warning lights not being lit, ordered it as well. The new Air Manifold did not fix the problem, Installed the Dash Switch, it worked. However, in January 2024 discovered the problem has returned. ‘I purchased a Dell 2000, loaded the Intelliride Software, accessed the ECM, there is no tutorial in the software, no training manual. ‘My Question, Does anyone know where to find a Tutorial, Manual or any explanation on programing the ECM? I haven’t been past the diagnose screen, it shows a Left Rear Height Sensor voltage reading that is to high, I have not been able to get past that screen, apparently cannot until the issue is resolved. Have both new Rear Height Sensors due to arrive April 3rd, if it fixes the Voltage problem, what screens are next? On the Calibrate Function, I can fill the airbags individually but cannot lock in ride height setting, or any setting, I am assuming that is because of the voltage problem not being resolved, am I right? When I disconnect the computer, all the air dumps from all the bags in seconds. I feel I am working in the blind here, I know nothing, and can find very scant information about how to use the Software to set up the ECM. I am reaching out for anyone that has experience and would be willing to share some knowledge, PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN!
