kwikee Steps

My Kwikee steps works fine with all the functions doing what they are suppose to do with the door and ignition.  My problem is that the "Step" light on the dash stays on all the time when the ignition is on.  I have searched the Kwikee manual with wiring diagram but have found nothing that addresses this problem.  Any body out there with ideas on how to solve this problem??

There should be a little magnet and magnetic switch with 2 wires going to it. Ours is on the side of the step mechanism facing rear of the coach. The magnet is just a stick on type and may have fallen off.

There is a burglar alarm magnet switch that is our of adjustment.  It feed the signal to the dash light.  Chuck B
