  1. Ivan K's post in HWH control pad Lexan replacement was marked as the answer
Just lift a corner of the old sticker and peel it off. Mine came off clean, no residue to clean.
  2. Ivan K's post in 2002 Sig - Lost all interior 12 VDC Lights. 120 VAC is OK - Now Watt? was marked as the answer
Your salesman switch by the door and if not that, one of your solenoids in the pass side engine room. All the light run on 12 V so the breakers are not it.
  3. Ivan K's post in Tag wheel valve stems pointing in? was marked as the answer
I think it is a legacy from truck world where the stem could be more likely injured when stuck in mud or similar. And they dont usually use external sensors eitner. A straigh stubby but make inflation difficult with traditional inflator tips.
  4. Ivan K's post in Ism500 fan belt to bypass the AC compressor was marked as the answer
Hmm, our ISM 500 AC belt turns nothing but the AC. If I did not want AC, I would just remove the belt. Is your ISM that much different? Didn't they use ISX in those years?
  5. Ivan K's post in CITY WATER WON'T FLOW. was marked as the answer
I had that happen last spring when filling the tank before departure to boondocking place. The factory backflow valve fell apart internally and closed the inlet opening. On ours it was behind the wet bay cover,  looked just like an extension fitting with a spring and plastic plunger inside. Don't have a picture because I was pissed and in a hurry but it was behind the cover just above the hose hookup.
  6. Ivan K's post in Generator Roll Out was marked as the answer
It has been addressed here multiple times. For starters, hold the switch for a bit longer after it reached its mechanical stop in hopes of clearing possible debree in the valve seat or air in lines. After that, it's a leaky valve or cylinder piston seal, assuming no external leaks.
  7. Ivan K's post in MORPHED TOPIC. 2001 Executive - Fuse locations? Shade won't work? Steps messed up? Headlight issues? Taillight issues? MULTIPLE TOPICS being discussed and CONFUSING was marked as the answer
Terrence,  my switch for passenger shade is in passengers side panel but it could be anywhere in reach, I can't tell where yours is. The switch connections are only accessible from under the panel so you'll have to lift it to remove the switch and check connections. Switch should have a couple of push tabs to press and pull it out. There are 6 pins on mine where to polarity reverses depending which way you flip the switch. The center 2 wires go to the motor and should have 12V power between them when the switch is actuated either way. If so and no movement,  you can use those 2 wires to check resistance through the motor to see if it has connectivity. Chances are that a connector slipped out of the switch but you have get to it first. And, I can only assume that the wiring is similar to mine.... here is how it is wired.

It's the same as my 149-2790 and was superceded by A047N931. Check you model number against this list. Plenty of places to get it.

  9. Ivan K's post in Center AC tripped the breaker was marked as the answer
I would check if there even is power at the breaker, unlikely both motors would quit. The motor should make a humming sound if it couldn't start.
  10. Ivan K's post in Hydraulic Slides - Stuck - "Whooring" sound trying to move was marked as the answer
My first suspicion would be low fluid level in the reservoir and now air in the system. Easy to check, not always so easy to resynchronize.
  11. Ivan K's post in Auto Start Setup Freedom Xantrex Trace Controller? was marked as the answer
There is no AGS module with the legacy Xantrex. The only connection between the remote and the inverter is the yellow (factory) data cable. All the options are set in the remote. Different from Magnums that use the extra box to do that. Connections to generator are terminated at the inverter itself. Here is the manual, basically you hold the UP and Down buttons until a beep and get your settings screen. You MUST set the time of day for it to work, at the end of sequence.

  12. Ivan K's post in HWH generator slide cylinder rebuild was marked as the answer
If it wasn't a leaky valve or possibly air in the cylinder, it had to be this piston ring, there's nothing else inside.

  13. Ivan K's post in Centramatics? was marked as the answer
What Ben said. Plus balance masters are black powder coated and a bit more expensive. Centramatics do the exact same thing, you can hear the balls rolling when you have it in hand but no way to hear when driving. Can't go wrong either way. I posted this pic in the past.

  14. Ivan K's post in TRW Steering Sector Adjustment Procedure questions was marked as the answer
The Hydrapower casting indicates a TRW box and you can clearly see the adjustment screw. The only potentially harder part is disconnecting the drag link to do it right. Don't damage the boot doing it.
  15. Ivan K's post in 2001 Dynasty - Is this a high pressure cutoff switch? - Front HVAC Dash unit was marked as the answer
Low pressure switch, pretty standard part between vehicles. You can unscrew it and take it with you to a parts store. Start turning it slow if there is still pressure in the system. There should be a schrader valve to keep pressure in the system behind it, just like in your tires but just in case someone removed it.
  16. Ivan K's post in Tag axle oil bath capacity ? was marked as the answer
I think I used about a quart for the tags all together on my axle. I had a 5 gal bucket so that's an estimate. To change it, you'll have to suck it out with something if they have no drain plug and fill to the line. Easy, just give it few minutes to level out and check again. Don't overfill.

  17. Ivan K's post in 106300008 Bushes Monroe Absorber was marked as the answer
Your specific PN seems to be out of stock in usual places but If you can reuse the metal pieces, just find a correct diameter bushing. It's is called shock 'stem bushing' and you may find a polyurethane version for life. I doubt you would notice the stiffness of polyurethane in this application. I just did the same for someone's truck a couple days ago and the shocks were still perfectly good along with the bottom bushings. Energy Suspension has a listing with dimensions and might be on Amazon. https://www.energysuspensionparts.com/universal-shock-eyes.asp

  18. Ivan K's post in Holset HX35 TURBO REASSEMBLY PROBLEM. was marked as the answer
Looks like the oil seal plate. It looks like the snap ring is way too spread now, possibly from installing into the groove the wrong way? It should go on into the groove open end first so the ends don't bend open. The plate should have a slight taper, just enough to compress it for install. I know, easier said...
  19. Ivan K's post in Seeking part numbers for '01 Knight 32pbd brake rotors, and seals. was marked as the answer
I also would not call it 'critical' just yet but you are right looking for replacent parts. My Meritor manual calls for replacing them but I wouldn't panic yet. Sorry, can't help with your part numbers.

  21. Ivan K's post in Recharge Freon on Roof Top AC was marked as the answer
Bill, I am one of those who prefer to repair rather than replace unless I see the benefit of new features. I have fixed leaks and recharged two of my roof units for near nothing. Of course it helps that I have the tools, ASE refrigerant license and time to spend on the roof. Make sure what refrigerant is actually used in your unit and how much (should be on a sticker), mine use R22. Since you already have a port and if you decide to attempt fixing it, you can switch to heat pump mode and if they brazed the port strategically,  the port becomes your high side. Of course, you need to find and fix the leak. Oh, and that piece of rubber is vibration damper,  nothing to worry about. Or, pull your credit card as most would do...
  22. Ivan K's post in Midland-Grau ABS wheel-sensor location? was marked as the answer
Not sure if your ABS system is much different but the sensors usually slide on top of the axle end to be in close proximity to tone ring pressed into the hub. You should see a wire coming out into that location. I can't just clean mine without removing the hub but can carefully pry it closer to the ring from behind the wheel and that works the same.

  23. Ivan K's post in 2009 CAMELOT - Low Coolant Check Engine Light on - ENGINE DERATED 30% - HELP1 was marked as the answer
The level should fluctuate quite significantly between cold and hot, eventhough I know that it takes for ever to cool down in AZ. But, if you are only concerned with the sensor...
Here is a McGiver way at own risk but it wouldn't be the first time it was done.
3 wire means there is a reference voltage on one of the wires, one ground and one return signal to ECM. I would disconnect and confirm the voltage and ground wire first. A dirty way of faking the signal is disconnecting the connector and shorting the reference (~5V) wire to the return wire. These could have the same color. NOT to the ground, which might be a white wire!
  24. Ivan K's post in AC/Heat Pumps on Same thermostat will Not Run was marked as the answer
Have you tried to reset the thermostat and swap and reset them if it made no difference?
  25. Ivan K's post in Slide room hydraulics? was marked as the answer
Check the color of your fluid. Mine is red ATF Dexron. The new Dexrons are back compatible with the older lower versio number, just check the label if you have the same.
