What engine do I have?

I have a 2002 Holiday Rambler Ambassador 36 foot.  I can't find the engine numbers and neither can my mechanic.  However, the Roadmaster chassis vin decodes to an 8.8 liter Cummins L series.  I have not heard of and 8.8L, only 5.9, 8.3, and 8.9.  Two different places and said it's the 8.8, but neither was able to give me the engine serial number.

no doubt you’ve read that many think there was a typo on Monaco’s part as it is a 8.9 not 8.8

As stated below, you most likely have an ISC 330, like mine

It’s probably a ISC 8.3 l 330 hp or 350 hp upgrade.

I agree with Bill. 8.3 ISC is probably what you have. Cummins has service distributors all over the country. To be sure you may want to give one of them a call. Good luck with your coach !

Thanks everyone.  I will see if I can find it.  I have been told that I have a Dana 4.68 rear axle.  The original owners of our coach never wrote the serial numbers in any of the manuals that came with it.

Have you tried getting your Build and Data Sheet from REV?

It shows both ISB and ISC engines.  Thus, you can probably use the coach number or the VIN number and contact REV for what you have.
