Dr4Film Posted May 23, 2022 Share Posted May 23, 2022 Easey peasy, done it many times to replace broken straps. I always choose the non-spring end when changing straps. BTW (by the way), the omega awnings will work with springs in either end. Years ago, I needed a new spring in my large roadside slide on the Windsor. The service tech from Shade-Pro in San Diego brought a lefthand spring instead of a righthand spring. He just installed it in the other end and works great.
