Stephen Walsh Posted March 13, 2023 Share Posted March 13, 2023 Seeking experienced RVers guidance We are trying to decide which toad setup would make more sense A lightweight manual transmission 4 wheels down we would have to purchase a lightweight vehicle that was able to be flat towed plus the base plate, arms, wiring , etc putting the weight at about 2500lbs plus 2 e-bikes and rack about 225 lbs or buy a tow dolly and tow our paid for 2003 Ford Taurus 3355lbs,dolly 400lbs, total about 4000lbs plus bikes and rack 225lbs we have a 2008 Monaco Cayman 37 ft with a Cummins 6.7 liters turbo,Allison 6 speed, towing capacity 7000lbs Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
