KarenG
The run off from the roof AC comes down the passenger side window and across the paint and graphics, leaving nasty mineral deposit spots. What is the best way to get rid of that? I just had the roof conditioned and all the old sealant removed and replaced, so if that was part of it, hopefully that is good. But, the spots are there, and I want to get rid of them and then have the ceramic coat applied. Any input is greatly appreciated!
JDCrow
On paint ONLY you can use mild acid like meguires wheel cleaner. Spray on and wash before it dries with soapy sponge. Do not try this in direct sunlight The Vinyl will be tougher as most stuff that people use will have abrasive or chemicals in them for removal. timaz996
You may also try CLR.
windsorbill06
Vinegar also works if build up isn't too bad. Takes several applications. If your having a ceramic coating applied, most places will do all the detailing for you.
KarenG
Thank you all! I started with Meguiers Last Touch Detail Spray that was recommended, and that did quite a bit of good. Even on the graphics, it looks like. But I'll try the others to see of I can perfect that.
