  1. "My next step will be to jack up the front end (and block it with stands, of course), and see if I can find any looseness with weight off the front wheels." I would do this. You should be able to find it with the weight off.
  2. I went this route in 2019 and it has it has worked well and I full time dry camping 99% of the time. They have many models for the 1200 model.
  3. You also might want to check the back of your light switch to make sure nothings melted or burnt wires.
  4. I replaced my 6 year old Firestones last May because of sidewall cracking and I always kept them covered. (maybe the AZ heat) I replaced them with Sumitomo and so far I'm happy. I full time so they do get used. I dropped the covers and am now using a product called "Blak" It's a UV protectant. When you wash the tire you can't rub your thumb on the tire hard and get any black on your skin. There are YT videos on it and I bought mine on Amazon. So far I like it. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=blak+protectant
  5. Check the plug going up the steering column and make sure it's clean and tight.
  6. I stuffed them over the top of the AC ducting. They are about 3/4 of an inch thick and about 2 in. Square.
  7. The power resistor should do the trick. Get it at a stereo shop. I have so much noise in my coach I had to put them on my A/C units 12v power to keep them from short cycling.
  8. Mine is a little different. There website is not very search friendly.
  9. You’re welcome. If you go to their website, you will see my motorhome hooked up to my pilot as I was leaving shown as a happy customer.
  10. No water leaks of any kind and they do sweep everything off the top of the slide out as it comes in. Look up true toppers on YouTube and you can see many videos and a good one by AZtech. After I watched his video and a few others including the company videos, I made an appointment to have it done and they did it over memorial day weekend last year, and I am very happy with them.
  11. That's one of the reasons I converted mine to True Toppers.
  12. It provides smoother operation. I would keep one.
  13. I guess my rollers have been replaced because mine are the white ones. I have cleaned mine and I vacuum the floor before running the slides in. Thank you for the post. I will have to look and see if my fenders are hinged. It's blowing 40 plus today in Quartzsite so not today. I checked and my fenders are not hinged.
  14. I did a long post on this on the irv2 website about four years ago. It ended up being my six pack valves needed to be resealed. My coach has track straight as a die ever since I did that.
  15. I had to change out my flame sensor a few weeks ago. After testing everything else. Here is the service manual for my model and most of the trouble shooting should work for yours. AHE-100-02S Service Manual Rev. B 9-27-2011.pdf
  16. I say flush and a good filter system. I fulltime so I have filter down to two micron (two filters) and a whole house UV filter.
  17. I don't have knowledge of them but in 2020 I bought a new VIP controller from VIP. They built it for me with about 10 day lead time. I also wired my headlights to a relay.
  18. If someone looks for leaks make sure they check the Six Pack valves. Mine twisted the chassis enough to make it pull going down the road and lean like yours is doing.
  19. If you post a picture of the thermostat, I’m sure someone will be able to help you reset it.
  20. Yes, they are all coming down in price. That’s why I think it makes no sense to go with lead acetate batteries for your house batteries.
  21. I have four Lossigy 200ah batteries and you can now get them for $500 each. Two years full time now and I love them. I have two other friends that full time with them also.
  22. There are large nuts at the end of each arm on your slide. Inside the nuts is an Allen head screw that will adjust the tilt of the slide. (in/out at the top) Try a little trial and error to adjust the front. Adjust a turn or two at a time and cycle the slide in and out.
  23. Contact True Toppers as they remove them from rigs they convert over. I would guess they will give them to you.
