Yes, High voltage panels will be best...say around 36v no load each. Make sure they can't produce more voltage then your controller is rated for. Not even a couple volts. More amps is fine and is actually better.
I have wired 700W of four panels on my roof using a Victron 100/50 MPPT controller using the stock wiring from the roof to the controller. Going on my filth year and it works fine. I also added 800W that I can tilt in the winter with all new wiring and another 100/50 controller.
My brother made brackets to hold the door open about 6" because climbing grades out of Phoenix in the summer my A/C breaker would pop. (The wire loom goes up through the front of the engine compartment) The engine compartment heat would heat the wiring. This happened even with my engine temp staying below 195F.
See pictures.
There is a ramp built by True Toppers as part of the install. Do a YouTube search for True Topper as there are a lot of videos showing the process and how they operate.
When it came to slide out toppers I decided to go a different route and when with True Toppers. You can find YouTube videos to show them in operation. I full time in my coach and love them.
Cranking over a few rotations lets the oil pump pickup some oil. So do the preheat but a few crank rotations is better for the first start in the morning.
Ed helped me immensely a few years back with getting to my blower motor. You can find my thread on irv2 showing pictures. just search for posts by timaz.
I have the auto level HWH Air bags. But I do need to adjust it as I have to do the same thing to get level. If it's easy you could just shim the bubble.
