  1. That is an aftermarket over temperature protection device. If it sees the temperature where it’s connected on the tubes to get too hot, it will shut everything down. So either it has died and you need to reset it or you actually have a problem with the cooling portion of the refrigerator.
  2. There should be standard air chuck on the driver's side next to your propane tank. The one up front by the Gen is for a tow truck.
  3. I am no pro but those chunks in the filter. Don’t look like a hose to me. Speaking of bio diesel. I have a son-in-law that drives a fuel truck in Arizona and he said there are no separate tanks in the ground for bio diesel. Sometimes they haul biodiesel sometimes they haul regular ultra low sulfur diesel and it all goes in the same tank. So when you buy diesel, I doubt you’ll ever know what you’re getting. No matter what this stuff is, it gives me another reason that I am happy I put in the FASS on my motorhome. I have the dreaded caps pump and lost it in 2019 and shortly after I put in the FASS set up.
  4. You can jump start the chassis battery but you most likely will have to let your car run at fast idle connected to the chassis battery for a while before you try it.
  5. Got to love your government... https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/Dometic-H551916AXX1J0-Air-Conditioner/5HHNXE068LI8?from=/search
  6. Go out to the rocker switch that starts the generator on the generator itself and look for any codes. If you have the Cummings manual, it will give you the codes which is the red light flashing on the switch. It will flash in two different groups with a pause in between.
  7. Yep auto adjuster screwed up. It was a flat bed trailer with my race car on it. Got into a gas station and removed the whole brake assembly and put on the spare.
  8. One trick is to have someone hold a shop vacuum where your recovery tank cap is. They can regulate how much vacuum you need by allowing a little gap as needed.
  9. As Steve said a brake fire is heat, you have to cool it with water. I had a trailer brake stick once and started to smoke and when I stopped it started on fire. I used ice water from a six pack cooler to put it out. It got so hot it over pressured to tire enough to blow it right after I put out the fire.
  10. It's still a little cool up in Flagstaff isn't it? I'm still Quartzsite until Thursday then up to Chino Valley where it will still be cool.
  11. I converted my main awning to electric with a Carefree but my tube wasn't bent and I still have the door awning. You ca call Shade Pro and they can help you. 800-328-5100 www.shadepro.net Mike Scheller is the guy I dealt with.
  12. I broke my power cord door at the back of the coach last year. I got one at an RV parts counter and painted it myself. They are a pretty standard door, and most RV stores should have one.
  13. If they did it was a good way to go. Turbos don't like back pressure. I put in a straight though muffler about 18" long. It also helps the EGT to stay cooler.
  14. After fixing one twice and buying another one that failed I bought a counter top ice maker and now I have more room in the freezer.
  15. Thank You very much! I will look now. Is this it?
  16. Thank you Tom, but I have a GM system but I'm guessing it will be the same? Does anyone know where the resistor or module is located? Left side? Passenger side? How far up should I be looking?
  17. My Dash A/C & Heat fan only works on high. Where to start looking?
  18. You have a very good looking coach. Just me but I would fix it or have it fixed.
  19. "My next step will be to jack up the front end (and block it with stands, of course), and see if I can find any looseness with weight off the front wheels." I would do this. You should be able to find it with the weight off.
  20. I went this route in 2019 and it has it has worked well and I full time dry camping 99% of the time. They have many models for the 1200 model.
