mitchellg2241
Need recommendation on various general repairs as close to Clearwater Florida but will travel within 100 miles of home. Have had work at Lazy Days and Alliance in Wildwood FL before but always looking for the latest recommendations. Also Camping World in Tarpon, usually disappointed there. Awning, replace waterpump (house water), power steering gearbox leaking. Robert U
Check out Chris Throgmartin Talin RV in Brookville, Fl. He is a member of this group. On the steering box it is a Shepard And not worth fixing. Replace it with a TRW. There is a place in Orlando that is a well known alignment shop that can take care of your steering box. Can't think of the name of it (CRS). Somebody in the group can jump in here. Bob U 2000 Dip
throgmartin
Mitchell: You can contact Amy at Talin RV at 352-942-2653. Talin is located 50 miles North of Tampa and does a lot of work on Monaco member coaches. Priced very fair and the tech, Dustin, knows Monaco coaches very well. In regards to power steering pump they can diagnose the leak. The best place to have that repaired is in Orlando at Josams. They are a chassis shop that specializes in Roadmaster chassis'. Dr4Film
I also recommend Stone Vos Inc. for your awning work and Josam's in Orlando for your steering box leak and any other chassis work that may need attention. In regards to replacing your water pump, if you are planning to attend the Monacoers Gathering at Lazy Days from February 11 -16, I can replace your water pump providing you have a new one already in hand. They are not that difficult.
