  1. Well, to look forward a bit, we are seriously discussing incorporating "Monacoers" as a 501c3 charitable organization.  If we do that and establish a bank account to hold funds that is transparent and accountable to the membership, we may then accept donations. We currently have the capability to collect donations through the site, but it's turned off since we don't have a bank account, and I don't think any of the volunteers would be comfortable holding the money on behalf of the group.

    Stay tuned, and thanks again.

  2. Thanks Chris.  I too would like to add my grateful appreciation to "the individual who shall remain nameless".  Without his help, during an incredibly trying time of the year and of his life, NONE of this would have happened.

The Bill D's Monacoers owe him more than anyone realizes.

  3. Right now you can't change your Display Name.  Please private message me with your old Display Name and your desired Display Name and I'll change it for you.

To private message click on the white envelope in the upper right hand corner.

I hope to change this setting where users can change their own display names, but it may take several days.

    Scotty

  4. Thank you so much Denise!  Bill D's Monacoers has always been a labor of love, run completely by volunteers.  We haven't discussed accepting donations, but I will raise the issue with the group leadership.  Right now our costs are fairly minimal and are typically covered out-of-pocket by the Moderators.

How can I get the display name changed?

You should be able to change that in "Account Settings".  Click on your username in the top right corner of the screen and select "Account Settings" in the dropdown.  You should get a screen that allows you to change your Display Name (username). email, and password.  To the right of each is a "Change" button.

If that doesn't work for some reason, private message (the white envelope at the top right of the screen() or email me at Scott AT monacoers.org with your current and desired username and I'll change it for you.

  8. Welcome to the new Bill D's Monacoers' site!  We've worked hard to preserve what we liked from the old Yahoo site while adding new technology and features.

    Your feedback is appreciated.

  9. Yes, Frank is correct.  The site is not public yet.  I have changed the nameservers for monacoers.org and monacoers.net to point to Invision, but they have not completed the redirect to this site. I have followed up with them several times to no avail.  🤦🏻‍♂️

The message database is a work in progress; we will NOT hold up going public on that.

  10. Roadmaster baseplate for a 2009-2015 Honda Pilot.  This was installed on my 2009 Pilot from January 2016 - March 2019 and it worked great.  I got a new truck this spring and sold the Pilot.  All parts and instructions are included.  It is heavy, so pickup is preferred if you are anywhere near the Atlanta area.  I can get an estimate for shipping if you provide your location.

    Free to a good home...🤣

  11. That’s just wayyyy cool!

The default size for the Magnadyne radio is 1-1/2 DIN.  I very carefully converted that opening to a double DIN and installed a Pioneer radio. Obviously my wife has control of the radio station for the holidays...
