  1. ShadePro recently came out with tire covers that slide into tracks inside wheel panels. No drilling, no snaps. Easy on & off.
  2. 60 months from date of manufacture, not install. And yes, replace all alarms.
  3. Could be three things: Brain $450 Wire $250 Switch $50 This is the parking brake plunger air valve. Replaced it and all OK.
  4. Will the Late Great Monaco still perform this recall repair? John V 06 Knight 40DFD
  5. I may have one 22” wide, but long for the door window. I don’t know how to mssg U, but if U can “PM” me, I’ll let you k ow what I’ve got. John V 06 Knight 50DFD
  6. The switch cap can probably be re-used, so any momentary on-off-on switch may work.
  7. 400AH to replace useable 450AH may be enough, but more is better, especially if you NEED more when boondocking. Have you calculated your demand, as opposed to your supply? I recommend upgrading your inverter/charger. I went with Victron, and have yet to set up AGS. John V 06 Knight 40DFD
  8. Woody,, At least one company may make a single battery* to replace your eight, but you didn’t say what size batteries you have, their voltage, and if in series/parallel. More importantly, you need to know how many amp-hours you have, and how many AH you need to run all your gear & appliances. A pair of 6V in series do not add their AH together. Pairs of batteries do add their AH. However, keep in mind that lead-acid batteries give you only 50% of use. I’m my case I had four 250AH deep cycle 6V batteries in series then parallel, so the two pair were rated at 500AH. At 50% SOC, that left me with 250 useable AH. I replaced them with three Battle Born 100AH Lifepo4 batteries, giving me 300AH—all useable. These and a Victron 3000 Inverter/Charger keep my RR running well through the night. *One vendor showed me their 300AH Lithium battery costing $5995!
  9. I should have included the brand: got 3 Battle Born 12v @ $870 ea at the FMCA Int’l in Minot.
  10. These detectors must be replaced 60 months from date of manufacture, regardless of install date.
  11. I just replaced four deep cycle 6V AGMs that I had inadvertently run down to <10V, with three 12V Lifepo4 group 31 batteries, upgrading from 250AH (500AH @ 50%) to 300AH, & losing 150#! Also upgraded Magnum ME2012 MSW to Victron 12/120/3000/150A SW inverter. All to accommodate new 21cf RR (residential refrigerator) that replaced failed 13 Y/O 12cf NoCold. Steep learning curve ahead!
