  1. Can anyone advise how you can lower the angle pitch of the awning down toward the ground. My awning came with the setting in the lowest hole which seems to be the lowest pitch but it sticks straight out from base parallel to the ground. There are five or six holes above the one it's in??
  2. Richard, don't do anything to change it and don't update. They are not supporting since 2017. Spoke with Adam, the developer and android didn't like his ad choice and locked him out of their platform. Only ios and iPad.
  3. Just finally got locked out of the allstays app for android. I know they stopped supporting it back in 17 but it kept working. Now I can't even open it. What app is everyone using that's as good as allstays in identifying all categories I'd Rv'ing
  4. I replaced my Aladin with a wireless. Works ok some loads of signal from 40ft
  5. Sorry before I said engine compression when I meant exhaust manifold leak. I dsys I wasn't a mechanic. I was identified by a very experienced 18 wheel driver who heard it when next to me in the fuel slot.
  6. I had Cummins do a compression check and they found a small leak in the block causing it to loose power especially up grade. Just a thought in not a mechanic.
  7. Hey guys, just a quickie to say I love the digest. I can see at a glance what is taking place and read the body all in one quick and easy process. Thanks admin et al for this addition.
  8. Are they knowing something we are not. With the evident downturn in the economy and a slowing sales of large ticket items as well as the decade its going to take us to crawl back from this virus, are they seeing something different. The Rv market was on the rise but then the poop and fan scenario where do you think our industry is headed. I already heard parts are going to be sparse because of shipping from China etc.
  9. Thank you Richard I may consider this when I get to my son's and have the equipment available. Stay safe!
  10. Richard, my scissor sticks the door in the open position and I need to reach up to disengage to close the door. Is your fix for that?
  11. Thanks all great info really helpful again. I purchased the 20 in 20lb only because it tends to park slightly forward tilt to allow water to run. I know but it's less than 1°. I hope the 20 lb isn't too much but I can always keep that as my spare and order and easily replace with a lighter compression. I'll send pix when done. Has anyone figured a way of doing it inside like the scissor instead of outside under the awning?
  12. I can see from this and the other pix inside and outside ball bracket is ideal. Are they 10mm balls?
  13. A little while back I saw an article that I cannot find, about someone replacing their scissor door opener with a hydraulic piston type Amazon Camco. I ordered a 20 inch 30 lb exactly how it was described in the discussion and I cannot for the life of me figure out how there is enough room to use this application on my 07 diplomat. Pictures and or a description would be greatly appreciated if in fact it is doable. Thanks again for the help guys and everyone stay safe from covid-19
  14. Yes thank you, replaced eco and tstat and thermal fuse, cleaned all connections and it's fine. Will be replaceing the release valve soon its dripping.
  15. Thx, already bought from Amazon the thermostat and thermal fuse will be receiving soon.
  16. Best place to get replacement thermostat kit, thermal fuse, etc? Thx scotty that's where I purchased thermal fuse and thermostat
  17. Thank you Scotty I'll check them out. Heard there is no direct replacement cause of China exports and shortage of parts. Best place to get replacement thermostat kit, thermal fuse, etc?
  18. My 07 Dip hot water heater has stopped completely. At first it seemed gas wasn't working then electric stopped. Checked breaker, fine, is there also any fuses in line somewhere? Would something else stop gas and electric?
  19. Joe, good info but I'm having a pro hitch guy so it. I I've been full time for 5 years Rving 13 and 3 different vehicles. Never as much as a loose nut. This was a fluke I hope. Unless the last guy over torqued or didn't Tighten enough but this plate was on 2 years with no issues or loose anything. Shit just happens I guess.
  20. Hey man, an idea of what you have would be helpful. Why all unnecessary emails of its nothing we may want or need. Sorry, I'm only speaking for myself no one else.
  21. That's what I was considering as well as putting on what I have left and filling the rest with foam, shaping it and painting with original paint. I'll set if I have to improvise. Voyager may have a replacement that I can retrofit. Thanks for the suggestions.
  22. The matching plastic housing is broken and couldn't find all the pieces. Can't be salvaged and look decent. Need to replace housing. Thanks Visone doesn't have suggested salvage yards. Called Colaw and Vurinks. NG
  23. Hey all, I had a mishap with my curbside front side camera. The housing broke but the camera is fine. Can't find the housing only anywhere. TIA for any assistance. 07 Diplomat it's hooked into my Aladin... It's a Voyager just looked again. Thx
  24. This shop has a great rep and is going to give me factory specs to show the vehicle is back to new plus lifetime on all work done. They do auto and sister company all pro does larger truck Rv etc. All toll it will probably be 6 weeks leave of to pick up. Geico wouldn't total... Vehicle has too high a retail value.
  25. Here are after pix. Notice green markings by body shop indicating points of interest where stress or damage occurred. Don't know the mfg of the baseplate it was put on in CA after someone hit my front end. Mercury Ins paid for the complete repair then that was their insurance. Never thought to ask assuming it's auto specific it had to be right. The current state is worse than the occurrence. They took it apart to diagnose. I too picked up all the pieces and drove from San Diego to Scottsdale Glendale AZ not attached to the rig.
