It appears in order to get heat out of the aquahot heat exchanger vents under the kitchen cabinets and curbside sofa, the aqua hot must be on (110 or diesel), furnace must be selected "on" at the front thermostat and the aquhot blower switch in the kitchen must be on (3 speeds available). I'm not sure it can be configured to come on and off automatically when furnace and the desired temp is selected. That would be nice!

That is exactly how our 2007 Nav operates, but I am confused, it does come on and off whenever the thermostat calls for heating in the front of the coach, at whatever speed you already selected.  The vent in the very front of the coach only runs at one speed whenever the thermostat is calling for heat as well.

  2. The newer AH's only have one thermostat for the electric and the diesel, so when one comes on they both come on if both switches are on.  Our AH has 2 electric elements and handles heat pretty well down to the low 40's, then I turn on the diesel.  The heat from the engine does not require you to turn on the engine heat, it does it by itself.  We personally almost never use the heat pumps as we don't like the noise and it is not even heat and provides no heat to the basement.  Seems way superior to have the heat come out at floor level than at your head.  JMO.

  3. I think you will find the Splendide will go in the entry door just fine, not to say it won't be difficult.  It is heavy and unwieldy, but we have done it several times.  We have an ice maker in our residential frig, and we drink the water and use the ice and have been doing so for more than 14 years full time in this coach alone, we have the double filter that was installed in our coach and the frig has another filter for the water and ice, so far so good.

RVLife - map out routes anytime, and save them using phone, tablet, or computer.    Then, day of travel, pull up the same route on phone, tablet, (or computer using a hotspot), on the RVLife GPS portion of the app.   Boom, turn by turn directions with automatically up-to-date maps.  Campgrounds, fuel stops, points of interest all included.  I doubt that i will ever buy a single purpose GPS.  I can't think if a reason to do so, especially after reading all the negative reviews.

Does it still work without cell coverage?

  5. We actually run 2 Garmin RV780's, and for the most part are pretty satisfied, but you always have to check on it.  In fact just a couple days ago, after inputting the entire route they tried to take us on the Blue Ridge Parkway.  As far as a previous post on the 770 with no detail, I don't know but it sounds like not going in close enough, the 780 has plenty of detail IMO.  We do more than 10,000 miles year and stay at lots and lots of campgrounds, and 99.9% of them are in the database and in the right place.

  6. I had always used beads up til my last tire purchase, and was never completely satisfied.  When I put new steers on a couple years ago at Josam's, I had Barry install Balance Masters at the steer and the tag.  Then when I replace the drive and tag in a year or so I will have him install Balance Masters at the drive.  So far even with beads still in my drive tires the ride is noticeably smoother.

Ivan, did you change out only the steer tires or all 8 tires, and also I only have the hwh levelling system (air only) no jacks of any kind and if I change out the front to a taller tire what wont that mess up level while camped?

It doesn't level based on tire size, it levels based on what it has been told is level.  You can set the level manually to whatever you like then reset the system, and then with auto leveling it will level back to that.  Even if you park with one tire on a rock, it will still level just fine.
