  1. Jim We 4400 hours on ours and no muffler replace. Sometimes think it is a little noise but it varies with load. Just had a major service in Feb this year and asked the tech about noise (I am like you) think it is a little noise than when new but he said the muffler was still in good shape. I have thought on occasion to see if there is an after market muffler but have never looked into it. Ron

  6. Gary Was able to get it going so OK for now. Here is my story and I am sticking to it. Tried to load Delorme 2015 several times. Kept getting an error message the program was supposed to finish. Tried cleaning the disc and still no joy. The disc had some scratches so figured the disc was bad. Had a 2013 version, my research said it would not run on windows10. but decided to try it anyway. It loaded and when I opened the program. Much to my surprise several existing map files were there as far as I can tell all the trip/map files I have saved from 2015 version. It seems to have been able to run and grab the data from from the crashed computer that I had transferred to the new computer. Kind of strange but is working OK for now. Did plan a new route on the new computer and seems to have worked OK. Even hooked up the GPS and it located me spot on. Go figure. Ron 2006 Camelot
  7. Thanks for your help I will be taking a look at this program. Ron 2006 Camelot
  8. Tricia Thanks for the info. I have looked at this briefly few minutes ago. It is not clear if I can run this on my laptop. I want to run it there as I also run the vmspc program at the same time as my route tracking is going. Ron'2006 Camelot
  9. Dale My thoughts exactly. Had an older version that I loaded and is working, so yes I agree that the maps are getting out of date, but most of the roads we travel are not new so still is pretty useful. I would consider Google Maps or one of the other internet solutions but have not figured out how to do any kind of trip planning. Ron 2006 Camelot
  10. Bob Thanks for the info? Do you or have you used this service? They say no charge but want a CC. Thanks Ron

  19. Generator Service AZ Generator Chuck@AZgenerator.com Office 480-257-5288 Cell 480 825 2589 Excellent Mobile generator in the Mesa-Phoenix area. Knowledgeable and fairly priced
  20. Yes you should be able too do that. Ron 2006 Camelot
  21. John for what I ended up having done was mid $300. Cummins quoted me in Q for lot less work at about $1000 (did not need to pull) and would not do anything with the cooling system. Ron 2006 Camelot
  22. Just had a Generator Service done in Mesa, AZ (Phoenix Area) I rarely suggest places for service as this does not seem to fit all and outcomes can vary. That being said I feel that should your generator (Cummins only) be in need of minor to major service you will be satisfied with the results of working with Chuck Chapman (Office 480 257 5288 Mobile 480 825 2589 email Chuck@AZgenerator.com) He is strictly a mobile service provider and came to our spot in the park we were staying. He provided a major service that included all filters, new belt, oil and radiator service, new thermostat, radiator cap and valve lash adjust. He has no problem with you watching him provide the service and will answer any and all questions. He is also OK with you providing parts, I supplied all filters and oil. He provided me a detailed quote prior to doing the work (it reflected the worse are scenario) and then when providing the service discussed the condition of things like water pump, radiator, hoses, ect. and only did the work he thought was needed or I specifically requested and recommended against doing thins that were in his opinion not needed. In my case he felt the belt was in good shape but I wanted a new one anyway. In the end he adjusted the quote for unneeded parts and labor and final bill was about 1/3 of what I was quoted for the same level of service at several RV facilities I had contacted for this service. In addition my generator is on a slide and he performed the service with out pulling the generator as most of the RV facilities said would have to be done. All in all he accomplished this in about three hours, left the work area as clean or cleaner then when he arrived. I was really impressed with his knowledge, professionalism, attention to detail and quality of the service. Ron 2006 Camelot
