Thanks. I’ve tried to locate some a few times. I’ve tried a piece of automotive hose and also a piece of garden hose. Didn’t last long

Here’s how some of those offshore filters are made 😳

Yes and yes. You mentioned that they were available from multiple sources. Did you consider confirming?
-
When did you get them and where? Pretty sure you can’t get them now.

I’m not a member of that group

I haven’t been able to find them anywhere. If you have found a source please share it

I dove in as far as one can by removing the unit and sending the tank to John Carillo to use as a core and he sent me a refurbished tank. No way to get to that internal coil without cutting open the tank and rewelding it when done

My issue was that my overflow tank kept rising/ overflowing. I then removed the fitting for the fresh water loop and made a setup so I could pressure test the loop. Took about a second to hear air bubbling inside the tank.

I’m my case the domestic water loop had a leak. The issue with contamination can occur due to the fact that the glycol circuit does become pressurized at operating temp and the domestic side is not always pressurized. It your water pump is not on or hooked up to “city” water and have a leak you risk the fluid containing your fresh water. I choose to fix things properly and never have put anything in a system that it wasn’t designed for it in any vehicle or system.

My 06 has an internal loop. I replaced my tank last year due to an internal leak.

Good job John!

Yup, sucks. I would still send it back and once a replacement is back in hand post it for sale to recover at least a good portion of your money

I’m a big Washwax All fan too. Great product and the double sided microfiber setup is the best.

I’m certainly not unhappy with how my coach drives/handles overall. The Trucenter has been on my coach since I bought it 10 years ago but never dug into its workings. Think it was about time I did 😳🙄.

Thanks once again Tom. I would have installed a Watts Link years ago but Mike Hugh’s told me there wasn’t one available for my Exec.

Got it. Thank you!!

Thank you guys. I’m still not clear on a couple things. I get how to activate it but let’s say I set it off center because of a cross wind. Does the steering then always remain in this position until I center the wheel and push the button again? Am I right in thinking once you press the button once it always remains active? I’m thinking this is the case and that’s why folks say it helps maintain control of you were to have a blowout

Ok . Thanks guys! I’m fine with just wiring direct but help me understand how it works. If you supply power to it momentarily I understand that it will actuate the solenoid thereby engaging the Trucanter but then what happens? How does it stay engaged? How is it released?

So I’m back up north and found some time to look at my Trucenter. It looks like the relay is toast. It’s a Amperite 12DA/AHDFA. Looks like it’s not made anymore. I’m going to call them tomorrow to see if indeed it’s available or if they have one that replaces this one

I’m going to check what my manual says tomorrow. Paul Maddox from HWH was who told me how to assure proper the proper fill level
-
Thanks as always Tom for the detailed explanation. One item that I don’t think is accurate, at least for the HWH X Brace slides is that the reservoir should not be full with all slides retracted because the hydraulic rams on the raised floor slides are fully extended in this condition. Therefore when extending one of these slides with a full tank oil will overflow the tank. HWH told me to fill with raised floor slide extended.

That’s your equalizing cylinder for the slide

Hey Mike,
Just wondering if you’ve been out on a trip with the Toyo’s and if so what are your thoughts on them?
