  1. At least make sure it’s covered if it’s stolen, and damaged. Had a friend had his stole from a consignment lot. Just check with your insurance company as to what you need to do.
  2. If you decide to sell it at a consignment lot, make sure that it is covered by your insurance policy while they have it.
  3. I had a similar problem about six weeks ago, no dash at all not even intermittent. It was not a grounding problem. It was no ignition feed to field on voltage regulator, installed new independent field circuit with protection. Good luck, hope this helps.
  4. Update on RV : confirmed no ignition feed to field on voltage regulator, installed new independent field circuit with voltage protection. Everything is back to normal.
  5. This is an update on this. Insurance denied our claim said that whatever happened to to wiring couldn’t be determined. We have not found the problem as of yet. So I ordered the Bluefire adapter and installed it in the motorhome. IT WORKS GREAT. I have a complete dash now, all the gauges that I want. We’ve found someone to work on it but that’s about a 3hour trip and we could risk driving that far with no dash. We will take it there when time and money allows. Check out the Bluefire System. Think you’ll like it.
  6. Just changed mine out, probably the first ignition change in 21 years. The replacement for it was for a 1972 Chevrolet. Got it at NAPA for about $32. Good Luck. 🍀
  7. Update on this. I had a Master ASE Technician come out and check and diagnosis the problem. He checked everything and apparently there is and open connection somewhere in the system. He found fecal matter from what is either from a rat or pack rat. Pack rats are notorious for chewing up wiring. We contacted our insurance company and under Comprehensive we are covered. A claim has been filed. The adjuster called and they are going to send someone to check. So we shall see. Thanks to everyone for their input on this it is appreciated. Will let you know the outcome.
  8. Those and the Alternator gauge. Engine temp gauge ready is lower than normal.
  9. MotorHome parked for 6 weeks at our lake spot. Got ready to leave today and it started right up but those gauges didn’t not work. Drove it home about 40miles had wife drive ahead of me so I could tell my speed. Everything else seemed to be okay. If the alternator is not producing voltage will it affect those gauges. I’m thinking 🤔 it could. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  10. I had the same problem, it was a fuel supply problem with mine. Changed fuel filters and now use Diesel Kleen and Killezz every fill up.
  11. Just an FYI on Insurance. If you want to sell your RV and are planning on using a Consignment Company, you know who the big ones are. Please make sure that it is covered while waiting for it to be sold.

Took it to Cummins Care in Columbia MO. they replaced the CAPS”Cummins Accumulator Pump” , it ran great for some time but started doing the same thing again. Took it to another shop and they replaced the crankshaft positioning sensor and the camshaft positioning sensor. Cummins said if you replace one u must replace both. it has ran great since with problems. $1500 CAPS $500 position sensors parts and labor. it should b throwing a code.
