3gallons is a lot but if it didn’t get hot or slip you are probably ok. You are checking the level incorrectly thou. Get tranny temp above 150 and let it idle in neutral for 1-2 minutes. Next press only once the up and down arrows simultaneously and let go. It will go to number 7 and it will start counting down. It takes a minute or so and it will give you over or under on quart quantity. If it is good it will blink ok. Hit any button to clear.
When in stop and go traffic when stopped shift to neutral will help it stay cooler.

Great photos. Last winter I did a 30 mile snowmobile trip into the park. It was a blast.

Look and see which fluid is in your reservoir. Then get some compatible stop leak and see if you can slow it down until a TRW comes available.

Does anyone know the company, brand or make of the countertops that were installed in 2007 Diplomats? Thanks in advance.

I know this has been beat to death. This only concerns TRW Steering Box. I just talked to Weller Truck Parts whom rebuilds and supplies the TAS 65 you convert to from the Sheppard Steering Box. When they set and adjust a steer box they use 50W oil. They said you can run 50W or ATF it does not matter to them. They said ATF may be more suitable if operating in extreme cold conditions. I am not trying to open another can of worms just passing this info along.

I case you have a sheppard and want to change I have attached the instructions. This procedure works well, I did it about 6 months ago.
-
The TRW is adjustable and the Sheppard is not. An easy way to tell the difference is by how the Pitman arm is attached to the steering box. The Sheppard has a large nut on the end of the output shaft and the TRW uses a bolt to clamp the Pitman arm to the output shaft

The filter is down in the bottom of the canister that you took the lid off. It will be covered with fluid.

I have a Diplomat with the 3 jack system. Shut engine down and extend slides. You can dump air if you like or level with it aired up. Turn the key to on but do not start. If you start it is airing up as you try to level and it is confused. So turn key to the right to on and and then push auto level and it should extend the front jack first then rear jacks. If you want to to do it manually push and hold the manual button for about 5 seconds for it to engage. The extend front jack and raise the front about 2". Then extend the rear jacks and adjust between the 3 until you get the green light.

I am running Hankook’s AH37 tires. I have about 5000 miles on them and no complaints. They will be about the same price as Toyo’s. I use the H rating (16 ply) which is good for 6500 lbs or 13,000 on the front for my steer tires.

Check your breakers on the generator. They are by the start switch on the generator itself. Stop using 20 amp shore power from your house, that will not run your AC because of the invertor/charger also drawing power. It takes about 20 amps or more just to start a roof mounted AC and about 13-17 amps continuous amps to run.

I am not of fan of lithium batteries. I am a licensed plane mechanic & pilot and yes some planes are certified to and are using lithium batteries now. There is extra monitoring and checks that have to be performed to use these batteries in planes. At this time my opinion the cost way to expensive for what you get. The Jet I fly cost over 80,000.00 for 2 batteries and the upgrade to lithium.

Take the tension off the serpentine belt and try turning idler arm, water pump and all pulleys by hand to see if one is harder to turn than the others. If not this could be the fan drive bearing. To see if it is the fan drive bearing you would need to remove serpentine belt and start the engine, be sure and don’t run it to long and get it overheated.
If it is none of the above then it will probably the worst, a exhaust leak such as burned out gasket or a cracked manifold. When the the metal gets hot and expands the noise sometimes stops the leak somewhat. Look all around your exhaust manifold and turbo discoloremtent and streaking.

Try etrailer.com. I think they have your hinge. They also have pretty good tech support..

If you would post a picture of it with dimensions it would help.

Thanks. I have a diplomat and will be changing the radiator, cac and transmission cooler out this winter. Along with water pump, fan belt, idler arm and fan bearing. I have been looking for the radiator supports.

Walker could you please post a part number.

Good luck. Hopefully that will fix your problem.
