I am no expert but sounds like it may be what they call the air switch. Some times also called sail switch.

Go to AC,Heating and Cooling forums and look at the forum listed below and you should find your answer.

You should be able to bypass the A/C compressor with a shorter belt until you are ready to fix It correctly. As for your blower it is probably the resistor on the condenser which is usually on the front firewall on the passenger side. Take your broke belt if still in one piece and route it bypassing A/C and get a length for new belt. Good luck!

I had the same problem with my previous 2003 diplomat. I do not have a record of the new part number but watts changed it. Try calling watts at 978-689-6066. The size and fittings were the same so it was an easy change.

It should have shutoff valves already installed that the hoses are connected to.

I would try the salvage yards.

I have a 2007 diplomat 40skq. Currently it has 2 penguin ii with heat pumps. I know the Houghton has a remote control thermostat. I also have 2 Atwood furnaces and all operate off of a Dometic 5 button thermostat. I would like to change my front unit to a Houghton. Question is how would the front furnace operate? Will it still work of existing thermostat or would some kind of retrofit be required? Thanks in advance.

You can just get some styrofoam insulation board and cut in strips to cover the openings on the back of existing cover. Use the aluminum duct tape to secure them in place. Then cut one piece of styrofoam to cover the strips and tape it securely. This way it is airtight and insulated. No paint to try and match and much cheaper.

It does give you more HP. It has a 3 settings. It is a plug n play in the fuel rail. Call Ag Diesel Solutions and they will tell you what to expect. It has a 30 day money back guarantee if you do not like. If you keep it has lifetime warranty. It helps with power and mileage. On my ISL400 I have gained on average 1.5 MPG at the worst.

I have no experience with a Banks. I put a Ag Diesel Solution on my ISL400 and very pleased with it. The people there in support or very nice and helpful

I would call a mobile hydraulic repair man. They are use to patching and making things work where dealers just want to swap parts.

I suggest you try liquid steel putty first. I have used it many times with good success. Just clean the area good with sand paper and some acetone. You can apply it it to the area even if it is damp from diesel. Just dry best you can and make sure you apply it past the damp area. Only cost about 6 bucks to try first and save lots of time.

Attached is wiring schematic for bay heater. Spray the snap disk with a can of air for cleaning computer key boards because it is cold enough to close it. There is a place you can send the heater for repair but I cannot find the name of them. They are listed as a safety company. Sent one there about 4 years ago and it cost $25 and came back looking brand new.
