03 Endeavor same issue.  I had a shop check them out and one had a leaky wheel seal.  Seal, shoes and drums replaced and not much different.

Be sure to use your engine brake with your foot brake.

Got home from the weekend trip + a trip to dump tanks with two hard stops.  Braking *IS* improved and noticed no ABS beeping.  Maybe the new shoes / drums had to bed in a bit, or maybe the shop greased the slack adjusters . . . or both

I was going to the Cajun Rally, but my wife got a bad infection in her hand and is currently in the hospital being treated. I’ll leave it up to Y’all to eat my share of the crawfish next week.

I hope and pray she beats it with minimal discomfort.

My wife had an issue that required weeks of a strong antibiotic.  They hooked her up with an IV, multiple syringes of saline, syringes of Heparin, bulbs of antibiotic solution and sent her on her way.  Now she could hook up at home.  The alternative was driving 45 min one way to the IV clinic everyday.

In the end it wasn't enough and she lost her big toe to a pedicure.  Yes, a PEDICURE.  Now she's known throughout the world as 'Nine-Toe-Nita'.

If that's all that's keeping her in the Big House you can have your cake (crawfish) and eat it too.

  3. Is that the device that can only be reset with a magnet?  If you get it reset, monitor fridge operation very closely!

I bought a small compressor fridge that I could plug in to +12V or 120VAC as a backup.  It's also nice to have cold stuff next to me while I drive, and it works better than the absorption fridge.  Delivery is 2 days, so you don't have to cancel your trip.

Posted price was $3.79. TSD's app showed $3.33.  . . .  I received the receipt and was charged $3.47 per gallon!

Today, while waiting to hear back from Ms. Winters, a supposedly customer service rep . . . .

How are you getting $3.47 / gal?  I take total TSD receipt price and divide by gallons for a "true" price.  Occasionally I can do better somewhere else because while traveling I'm not calculating +60c +10% of differential price.  I've filled up at Sam's Club before and I could order a pizza and have it delivered by the time their pump is finished, not to mention how sketchy it can be getting in/out.  LOVE those truck stop hi-flow pumps!

You might ask for Tara Girod-Rape next time to you talk to TSD.  On Facebook she's been more than reasonable with customers.

Some stations (Love's, TA) have apps you can pay for fuel directly through the app and still collect the TSD savings.  This avoids card skimmers on the pumps.

When was last time oil was changed????

Too long ago, in excess of 15,000 miles 😮 .  I changed oil & filter last week but only idled the engine.  I'll take it for a drive (get oil hot) soon.  If it still persists I'll look at cleaning the "regulator" and spring.

Still having trouble finding some of the documents you found (except the regulator).  Finding the "Training" doc is a mystery using Quickserve.

And I should have a scanner . . . . liking BlueFire or ScanGaugeD simply because VmSpc is no longer available.

    Thank you for your advice.

Bob, is this the dash gauge reading or ECM reading to some sort of monitor?

Both.  ECM is turning on the warning light.  Dash gauge is reading higher than normal.

The baffling part (to me) are 2 senders, one on each side of engine.  Why does it need 2?  One is like in your hand and the other similar to your link, except mine has 2 terminals (both connected).  I'm guessing the 2nd contact is for low press warning (7 psi).

I couldn't find them on my Quickserve site, either one!  Installed by Monaco maybe . . .

  7. @MichaelU295 I'm not sure if we have the same engine, but let us know if that fixes your problem.

My 2003 ISC is reading hi oil pressure, enough to trigger the warning light.  From my reading Cummins had a batch of senders in early 2000's that prematurely failed without an available replacement.  Their fix was to install a pressure switch, a new harness and re-program the ECM . . . . at a cost of hundreds of dollars.  $400 comes to mind . . . .

    If there's a sensor somebody knows about . . . .

My water pump sounds like it’s running non stop. But I don’t see any leaks or water any where.

Air in the system will do that.  If so you'll need to purge all lines, including hot water tank.  Just a thought.

  9. I had this problem with my 2003 Toyota 4-Runner w automatic climate control.  The controller looks similar . . . but drove a mechanical lever to move louvers, etc. that I'd grease with a very light grease.  Internally I figured the plastic / nylon gears had finally lived a near full life, or maybe the internal controller had gotten gummed up.  I couldn't get to it without removing the dash so it was what it was.

All that said, the controller may be a generic controller . . . . Monaco used a lot of GM parts.

Now that I’ve cleaned the BB, should the Battery Boost allow me to start the coach w/ the aid of the house batteries - they’re at 13.4v? I attempted this & it still just grunts. Chassis batteries are at 11.1v.

Are you holding the battery boost switch for a minute or more?  What you're doing is 'fast charging' the chassis batts, not the same as jumper cable aproach.

Your coach may be different, but this is from 2003 Endeavor Owners -

hold down the Auxiliary Start switch for one minute. Release the switch
for one minute, then engage the switch for one minute. Alternate this cycle
3-5 times. This will avoid overheating the Boost solenoid.
    • Next, hold the switch down for one minute and turn the key on. The
battery voltage gauge on the dash should indicate at least 12 Volts. If
voltage is sufficient with the Auxiliary Start switch held down, try starting
    the engine.

    Good luck,

  11. This happened to me last September.  Idling at a truck stop and it just quit.  Sometimes turning the ignition switch would give me instruments and dash lights, most times it wouldn't.  It wasn't the ignition switch.

In my case it was the Ignition Relay in Monaco Box ? in the FRB.  You can swap the relay with the Horn Relay in the other Monaco Box (I get 1 & 2 confused) for troubleshooting.

    Good luck,

  12. @Bobkat11208 I'm surprised your phones work at the races.  When we're at a National Enduro phones are useless during peak times.  I guess that's the difference between 40,000 users suddenly showing up vs 2,000.

Did some reading and Calyx Institute also provides free VPN services and secure OS for Android phones.  Reviews were good.  They even have a page on Wikipedia.  Perfect, if you're a terrorist!

Biggest downside for us is the T-Mobile / Sprint network which might work for some people but historically not for me.  Whenever my phone doesn't work at a location no one that's using a phone has replied "I'm on T-Mobile".  It's always AT&T that works when Verizon doesn't.

From Wikipedia - In August 2022, T-Mobile and SpaceX announced a partnership called Coverage Above and Beyond where the latter's satellites would provide connections for cellphones throughout the US, even in remote areas with no existing service. The goal was to allow customers to have service everywhere, with no dead zones. Starlink satellites would function like cell towers. At the time of announcement, the plan was to start with text messages and messaging apps and using existing hardware as opposed to new phones.

WOW.  Might take a while to implement.  Here's the original announcement.

    And yet I digress . . . .

Lastly, ran across this article - Which Cellular Carrier is Best for RV or Boat Mobile Internet?  (bottom line, "it depends")

There's a multitude of rabbit holes on mobile internet!  Where's Alice when you need her?
