  1. My 2004 Endeavor did not have a trailer brake wire in the rear plug. There were 6 wires; left/right turn signals, ground, brake light, reverse light, and power. No brake wire. I had to run one from one end to the other. That is quite a task. On my old Tiffin gas burner I was able to run inside the frame, but on these it is impossible to do so due to the construction of the bottom storage. I was able to run a wire along the passenger side engine, to the LP gas area, crossed to the left side at the water/sewer area, then along the upper inside edge of the storage, thru the upper fuel door area, then back toward the center along other harnesses and then thru the front fire wall. Picked up power and the signal from the brake light relay in the lower power panel and ran in the firewall with the brake wire. Seems to work fine after that ordeal.
  2. After reading this thread, I just knew I could find my plug. No dice. I took the panel at left knee out and searched, nothing. Pulled the shifter panel out just to make sure. Nothing. Removed the trim pieces around steering column, nothing. Removed the instrument panel, dug through all of those wires, nothing. I spent 3 or 4 hours digging for nothing. I am going to try a tic tracer or cable tracker for one last hurrah and if that doesn't get it, I am going to just run a two pair to the rear and go with that, I am over it. Really frustrating that Monaco didn't take the extra minute or two that it would have taken to mark this one harness that would commonly be used by owners.
  3. I know the information won't be available anywhere, but would be interesting to know the DOT date code of the tires. Only one item to consider, obviously inflation pressure, load, load rating, etc can be a contributor, but running tires past their useful life seems to be a common issue.
  4. I am not sure if you will run into this or not, but on my father's 99 Diplomat (ISB) the radiator would not come out the rear without trimming the fiberglass slightly. I assume they originally sat the cap around it, or brought in from below, but it would not come out. It wasn't monumental, but there was indeed some trimming that had to be done that didn't affect the structural rigidity in my opinion. I can't recall because this was several years ago, but I may have put some of it back in place. But I can tell you, if you have ever had oil leaks that made it's way to the radiator, it certainly was helpful to get the radiator out and the shroud off and clean it 100%.
  5. Unless you put beer in the tires with your air or pure nitrogen, they'll be the same since they both pretty much follow the ideal gas laws. Have another beer and Cheers!
  6. Actually the only variable that gives pure nitrogen a somewhat advantage is the fact you don't have moisture in it whereas air compressed in a normal air compressor does. The vapor pressure difference between water vapor and air is what makes the difference with temperature variations. But, for what we do with these coaches, it is negligible in it's affect. It's an advantage to use pure Nitrogen to some degree with it being a gimmick for the most part. What's really funny about the article is saying O2 (the second largest component of air) is smaller than N2, which it isn't. Interesting addition on the size of O2 vs N2 added below. Nice work!
  7. The foam in the awning is a typical source, as you must already be aware since you have done that. Did you run it the full length?
  8. I had a sort of similar experience with my old Splendide 2000. I just bought this HR and the Splendide washer came with it. The plywood platform it sits on was broken loose and finally got around to fixing that before I left on a trip last weekend. Bored at the campground I used it for the first time. It washed ok but wouldn't pump out. Left it full until I got home, I used a Jabsco pump I have to suck the water out by just holding to the drain hose, works well to get all of the water out and pumped to the shower, no mess at all. I disassembled the pump and found a rubber band around the pump impeller. Put it back together and all works fine now, so should be ready for our next trip. I was surprised at how quiet the unit is, hopefully it will give me good service. I don't think the previous owner used it much, maybe because of the issue I found and fixed?
  9. I saw your post yesterday and also have a leaking pump. I tightened the three bolts last night, I also got about a quarter turn on them. I will see if I did any good when i get home. Thanks for the post.
  10. I bought this unit in October. The previous owner had installed two battery powered lights with wireless remote switch on the wall. The factory overhead light and the vent fan did not work. When I checked the light and switch panel, no 12v present. I checked the fuse panel, for that bathroom it listed F9 as the fuse for that location and the fuse was good. After tracing wires as best I could with no luck, I just gambled and stuck the fuse on F8 which did not have a fuse and showed on the list to be open and I saw a spark jump and heard the fan come on. I assume this has been this way since the unit was assembled in 2004 and the previous owner or the dealer installed the wireless battery powered lights. I am not sure I would have found it were it not for the fan switch just happening to be selected on. I noticed the list at the fuse panel showed two others to be open that has fuses, and the same number has no fuses that show to be for something. Either the wrong list was posted or somebody who assembled it was just random on connecting to particular fuse locations. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this particular model? I just wonder what else is incorrectly connected.
  11. I pulled my dash apart yesterday in search of an issue of the speedometer glitching out when the lights are on. Also fuel gauge drops when lights on. I found every connection loose on the back of the gauges, almost like they were finger tightened when assembled. The worst was the ground connection to the speedometer which was just barely engaged with the nut backed all the way off. Seems to have addressed the issue.
  12. I am glad I found this forum, I have found 2 useful things, including this one, that have helped me already this morning. Thanks for being here.
