  1. I previously owned an HR Ambassador. Every place I had it serviced couldn't find a dash connector. I knew there had to be one, so I went digging. Searching through the access on the top of the dash tied up in the harness I found a 6 pin 1708 socket. It is there, just keep looking.
  2. Made by MORryde. Different sizes are available. Amazon or many supply companies have them.
  3. You probably have a defective volt read out on your usb outlet. Just another thought, do you know for sure that the usb outlet is wired to the chassis batteries, or could they be wired to the house???? I would start with the voltmeter checking at the usb outlet for, input voltage. Are you only getting the high voltage reading on the usb readout? If you do have an actual voltage going above 15vdc, as said above, it will start effecting all kinds of equipment. You definitely have something going on, but need to understand what your actual vdc readings are to share more ideas. Don't want to send you on a wild goose chase. Check voltage running and not running, plus at the dash and at the batteries.
  4. I am glad to share my costs, but need everyone to understand that it can very from coach to coach depending on your hardware in your coach. For example my coach has a SafeGuard brand transfer switch that requires an extra module that is $695. With all of that included my kit was just over $2700 plus shipping and tax. If you are interested, I would highly recommend to contact Silverleaf and get a quote to match your coaches equipment. Along with this system, there are other Silverleaf products that can be added that will work in conjunction with this upgrade. For that call the experts a Silverleaf. I am not trying to be a salesman for Silverleaf, but I will definitely let you know what I think once I am finish and operating. I will say so far Silverleaf has been very helpful.
  5. I posted before that I am in the process of receiving and installing the Silverleaf conversion for the Aladdin. There are two levels of Aladdin. The lesser Aladdin system is referred to Aladdin Jr. I believe that most of the systems in Monaco Coaches are the full system that gives you engine, cameras, shore power, battery, tank levels... The Silverleaf conversion for the full Aladdin does give you all of this info with a few other features(I am adding inverter monitoring since my inverter has that capabilities). I just received the kit and will try to lay it out and send some pictures of all included. There are some differences from coach to coach on what they put in the kit. If you have interest, you contact Silverleaf(they were very helpful on the phone through the entire process), and they will send you an info email with a form to fill out with the equipment on your bus. Each kit will be made up for your couches equipment. https://silverleafelectronics.com//?page_id=2732 More info to come.
  6. I don't know where your are located, but try these guys. They really know what they are doing. https://www.hutchersonae.com/
  7. I will take pictures and share info on the install of the Silverleaf. Part of the kit is an all new Seelevel tank level system which can send a RV-C standard data stream to the Silverleaf main processing box. Most other wire runs and the buss switches are reused, which should make it, hopefully an easy install. When I say easy, I have a fair amount of experience in marine system installs with buss configuration and alike. More to come...
  8. Thank you all for all of the input on this topic. My Aladdin system just failed and I am in the process of installing a Silverleaf replacement package for the Aladdin. Not sure I made the best choice. Will update this post when my install is complete. Would love to hear any good or bad comments about my choice.
  9. Yes, it is always safer to use your own regulator at the campsite water outlet. Protects your hose and RV.
