  1. Front AC doesn’t always drain through tubing. Sucked a string through tube, tied rag on ,pulled through all clean and clear. PS lm talking about roof AC. While outside scratching my head had wife turn AC off, water poured out of tubing like its supposed to.Sounds like unit is pulling a vacuum on condensate . Middle and rear AC drain fine out rear.Front drains out front. Any ideas thanks TommyL Sorry ,08 Camelot tag ,Dometic Douo therm heat pump units .
  2. 08 Camelot tag. I took the easy way, used a hole saw underneath, were your shoes are Barry. Use a size you can get your hand in and snap cap will fit. Mine was on far passenger side and I didn’t know it. My a c would blow cold then get warmer an warmer. Many hrs checking Freon pressure and other AC components just to find the dash vent hose was blowing on my thermostat telling it I’m cold enough! The thing’s we learn.
  3. Our 08 Camelot must have the most uncomfortable seats ever made. Old Winsor had Flexsteel .8 hr ride no problem. These Villa’s 2hrs and my butts crying. Our material is in great shape. Been adding or removing foam for years to no avail. Maybe a premolded cushion out of?...I can add foam to side’s to fit our wider seats. Anybody tried this or something else besides a shop ,been there done that. New chairs not an option
  4. 08 Camelot. Both of our front shades would only go up and down about a inch per button push. I took both little motors apart, I know you’re not supposed to be able to,but if there junk what can you hurt! Cleaned all the gunk out tested on work bench reinstalled been working for 2 years.
  5. 08 camelot 42’ tag. After 50+ years driving trucks, old ,new, cab over, single axle, twin screw, etc. This MH is the hardest to keep between the lines of anything so far . Our Windsor drove better, I decided its just the nature of the beast. We love everything about our MH except the drive. Maybe there’s still hope since I started reading Monacoers! Thanks Tommy.
  6. Just a new dryer, haven’t seen anything like Bill R post under there yet .
  7. Bill R just put new dryer on lost about 2# in1hr that’s ok in my world. My regen. Check valve .pressure relief are all made on the dryer. Check valve on old dryer must have been bad. I pressured the outlet and it leaked from inlet. Will look for more leaks and valves later. Thanks
  8. Ivan K. Mine is 1/2 in. Pipe threads in dryer so I put a street 90 on inlet line regular 90 on outlet screwed together first . Lots of better ways but is what I had in stock. If I new how to send pictures I would.maybe wife can.
  9. Thanks everyone for your help. It’s holding steady except for the fittings I tied the air lines together with ,ones bad .still only lost 3psi. That’s better than ever and we’ve owned it10 years. Hope lm not overlooking something thinking it’s the dryer. All thoughts are appreciated plus the moral support. It’s a MH ride one day work on it two...
  10. Took it off AM before I bought new governor. No leaks put new one on anyway. Bypassed dryer aired up and bingo rock steady at 115psi for last 30min. I guess it’s time for a new dryer .300.00$ plus 30.00 shipping and a week away. I’m at Lake Eufaula Ok. Will have to drive to big city. Could rebuild but I never saw a leak on any exterior orfices. Wouldn’t know were to start. Wife buys things over the air l never have I’ll let her look .
  11. Update. New governor didn’t help. Will bypass dryer ,if it system holds it’s the culprit,if it doesn’t I’ll keep looking! Compressor seems fine airs up quick, dryer is spotless inside. Not sure how it could lose air through compressor unless check valve in dryer is malfunctioning
  12. Thanks J I did spray Ppv s ,fittings, hoses, tanks, everything except air lines in bundle but that doesn’t mean I didn’t miss something! What’s got me stumped is if I air up with coach it losses to cut in Psi in about a min . If I air up with shop air then disconnect from shop air,I loss 10psi in 3hrs .
  13. Thanks K the pressure relief on dryer no bubbles.if there’s another one I haven’t found it.
  14. Thanks 9 ,purge valve is doing it’s thing, blows at cutoff, sputters a couple of times as compressor unloads then all external orficies no leaky.
  15. Thanks R have checked there but not right after purge. Will try in morning. All suggestions are appreciated. Thanks again.
  16. Thanks J you’re right and it’s 14 years old. Especially since it was sticking,I think. With 80,000 mi it’s due.
  17. Thanks G hope not. Compressor airs up quickly, dryer filter clean,2 years old. Purge housing clean internally. Seems to unloading normally, hate to throw parts at it , may bypass dryer if that doesn’t do I’ll try to figure out how to test the governor for leaks or just replace. It’s a hrs drive for a gasket, might as well put a new one on.
  18. Thanks K checked all those. Air up with shop air ,disconnect, loose 10psi in 3hrs. Air up with coach air pressure drops to cut in about a minute then stops or slows to unnoticeable.
  19. 08 camelot tag . Had governor intermittent problems. Wouldn’t pump past 40 psi. Sprayed a little silicone in intake port hasn’t been a problem since. Still losing air overnight so I started checking for leaks. Found a few small ones and fixed. Adjusted governor from 95 to 115 purge . While staring at the air gauges noticed pressure would drop back to cut in pressure in about 2min. No air being used. That big a leak I should hear! I’ve sprayed everything including drain valves. I’m down to bleeding back through dryer or governor maybe that’s why I can’t hear it. The kicker I air system up from shop air, so I can hear.It took 3 hours to loose 10 psi. Yes shop air unhooked.I’m scratching my head any thoughts.
  20. Our 08 Camelot tag Valid quit . Was told the computer board went bad . I unplugged the ribbon sprayed with electrical cleaner. Hasn’t missed a beat in 7 years.l was told if the board went bad it would default to travel mode. Boards aren’t cheap plus duty tax out of Canada.
  21. 08 Monaco Camelot tag ISL400 . Occasionally air refuses to pump above 35psi after it’s been sitting awhile.Kill engine drop air pressure,Start engine pumps right up.Above 40psi pumps up normally. No noticeable leaks. Doesn’t do it at home on concrete in shop with plenty of tools! What do you think, sticky governor.
  22. Thanks JD that’s exactly what I’d like to do.Wish I’d seen this before the 325$ bake an gaskets.I’m just a nut an bolt mechanic and computer illiterate.Maybe I can still learn!
  23. On my 08 Monaco Camelot, ISL400.. my DPF plugged up.Luckily at home day after return from Arizona.First half cleaned up easily.DPF not so much ,had it baked ,hope he did a good job.New gaskets 20$ each online,60$ each Napa.A little more power now maybe. No warning light.Question after reading many reviews, one person had first part of egr plugged.Removed carbon, reported noticeable power increase.Any thoughts-videos.80,ooo miles on coach
