  1. Tom , I do comprehend the undersized wire problems, didn’t know Monaco didn’t! When you say controller are you speaking of something other than the rocker switch? Ran a better ground just in case . Didn’t think about a better hot wire. I’ve never even tried the door awning without being plugged into 50amp. It’s been a few years since we worked on it but I think I had to install the motor to test run. Otherwise we would have tried an external power source. Thanks as always, you guys are a goldmine! Even though half of what you guys post goes right over my head! TommyL
  2. Mike we have 08Camelot ,yours looks like ours. The door awning motor is inside where awning rolls up. Left side, you pry the plastic end cap off, be gentle,it snaps on an off. I’ve replaced motors 3 times it still rolls up when it da!,, we’ll pleases, we just quit using it. I’m not a guru on 12volt, and limit switches tax me.Hope you have better luck than me. Tommy
  3. Tom C. Talk to Parker hyd. Man ,we call him our second son ,2O years in hyd. He saw no reason to change to atf . He nicely reminded me what I use to tell him,use it or loose it . Body ,mind and valves ! I had 7 years small repairs on this Camelot and 3 on our Windsor before my wife found this website. What a goldmine! Thanks to all . Ben don’t tell me there’s another box I haven’t found ! I think I’m alright cause the slide ran fine going out but half speed out in the retract mode . My valves have knobs on them , I assume for manual reverse in case of failure? Thanks Tommy and Cheri 08 Camelot
  4. Ben my seal is the same as Happycarz, SKF 562660 post . About the size of a nickel. We let the MH set to long this winter, the hydraulic slide valves stuck in the out position. A little in and out on the switch’s and slides ok. Maybe time to change from hydraulic oil to ATF. Ours is a Parker pump like Jon sweet post. Any thoughts on fluid change helping sticky valves? 08 Camelot tag isl400.
  5. Reading John’s post about sewer smell up by the TV ,I read every post knowing someone would say it’s because of all the sewage on TV. I was wrong. Just kidding. Dry P traps cause smells,I fill unused p traps with water then about 1 inch of mineral oil .Slows evaporation, mostly for hot water tank pop off drains.
  6. 96Evo. Ben I have that seal and numbers At the lake house were our 08 Camelot Isl400 tag is parked. Will be there Friday and can post if you want. Lippert said it was not repairable. I bought 2 for 2.68 cents 10 years ago. Now the bad. I reversed the 2 electric connection, tripped the heavy breaker Cherry talked about earlier twice before I realized it was pumping against a brick wall.10 years later started sounding a little rough first half of slide out then sounds ok. Hope it’s repairable or replace with Happycarz post. Tommy.
  7. Lynn ,I have the same problem.headlight switch gets cat cookin hot! These were made for 2 headlights 2 taillights, At least I hope that’s the problem, would like to know more about Bobs relay fix.
  8. My arm isn’t long enough to reach it laying down, and not enough room to set up. I do take a hammer and chisel under with me ,punch a hole in the filter an let it drain before removing.
  9. 2008 Camelot ISL 400 tag axel. A little coach history. At 32000 mi. I chipped our coach ,I loved it,engine didn’t,randomly went to limp mode . Low fuel rail pressure, unhooked chip ,all’s well. Trips out West to biodiesel country, Regin increased noticeably, back home all normal. 80,000 mi. Check engine light, high crankcase pressure,no obvious problems. Almost home, exhaust sounds funny ,no turbo boost. Break exhaust loose, runs good ,good turbo. Clean DPF system all good, still get warning light occasionally, high crankcase pressure but computer says 0 pressure ,very slight increase at higher RPM. Yes changed crank filter with valve cover gasket at 75,000. Coach has never been in a shop,so I know it’s not been computer upgraded. Frank Mc talked about this earlier. Is this just a Cummins thing ,can other shops upgrade? Hasn’t regin since cleaning DPF,but I’m still less than 100 hrs. Thanks for any thoughts, TommyL.
  10. I had a bad relay in my electrical bay ,kept blowing fuse. Replace relay, all good.2008 camelot. It would test good then bad , also just because a fuse shows continuity doesn’t always mean it’s good!
  11. 08 Camelot 43’. Tom and Frank you’re screenshot saved my day. Studying the diagram showed us the electric dash air compressor clutch is directly related to the blower motor. Even though we checked every fuse, first me then my brother, some how we missed it. F 26 wasn’t it but close enough we found F 29 was the culprit. Flushed system (looked like muddy water) new compressor, filter drier, belt and Freon. Cold air ! Will wait for warmer days to tweak pressure. Now onto the crankcase pressure sensor. I don’t think I could own this coach without the support of this group. Hope I can return the favor someday.Tommy and Cheri
  12. Still need help ! No power to blower motor switch ( dash air ) my schematics doesn’t show blower motor relay or fuses. I’m lost, where does my blower motor power originate.
  13. Kenneth pulled resistor ,all looks good. Continuity on all legs if that means anything. Maybe selecting switch ( low medium high) has gone bad. Looks like I’d have to pull fragile dash face plate to get to it. Last on my list. Only relay found was listed as cond fan. Replaced no go. Ivan I don’t know if compressor was bad but I couldn’t get clutch off and since it lost all Freon I opted to replace. System flush appears needed with new parts .I’ve never done it before but I can learn. Thanks for your reply, now I know I can move it if needed.
  14. 08 camelot ISL400 tag . Trip home dash air blower quit,AC or heat no work. Check all electrical bays no smoke ,no smells. 150 miles home, watch dash gauges no problems.Spend next am checking fuses ,relays ,etc. Blower motor runs quite and smooth on external power. Go to engine bay, compressor clutch bearing failure, serpentine belt broke. Must have given up when I backed into shop. Ok new compressor a given. Hook up Freon gauges , zero pressure. Remove compressor, no new oily residue for what that’s worth. Can I install new compressor leave unplugged, put new belt on an move coach in case I need help to repair. Plus is blower motor quitting related to other failures. Seems like it should work on heat side. Thanks for any thoughts, Tommy. Broke down in Eufaula Ok.
  15. Thanks Harry, yours looks just like mine. I may just duplicate your installation for the sake of my uncertainty. Thanks everyone for your time. TommyL
  16. Up front by the fuel tank is where I was thinking.Short fuel line from tank to FASS original fuel line from FASS to engine bay.Short return line to tank.My ISL400 appears to be a different primer pump than I’ve seen on these forums.Hence the reason for wondering if I could leave everything original from FASS at fuel tank to injection pump.
  17. Definitely for better fuel delivery,40’ a long to suck fuel! Cleaning diesel top of list. Been sitting a lot this year. Fooling ecm’s or any DC on these things is not my strong suit . Wiring a house is simple next to a MH. Was wondering what to do with the 30 second electric fuel pump. Thanks TommyL 08 camelot isl 400 FASS install. Maybe leave everything original just add FASS?
  18. 2008 Camelot ISL 400 tag axle. Has anyone installed FASS on HP rail. Clean fuel would be a plus . I put a Ag chip on a few years ago, it really improved power and down shifting at optimum speeds. But had to unhook it due to throwing codes ( low fuel rail pressure) it might take 1000 miles or 10 ,maybe FASS would let me use the chip again? All the posts have been for Caps unless l missed one. Thanks Tommy Harry did you leave your 30 seconds electric fuel pump in place? Original water separator filter plugged in, I have room up front, thought maybe fuel tank to FASS then original fuel line to engine bay ,leave everything else alone and original. I know that’s a lot of filters but simple. O yes return line from FASS to tank and electrical. Any thoughts. Thanks TommyL

  20. 08 camelot. Also watched the video and adjusted ours a while back. Much easier to open now. Hold bottom rod with vise grip while adjusting and you may not have to take the door face out of the bottom metal.
  21. After the first time she learned- wear a cap, long sleeve shirts, latex gloves and raise up slowly!
  22. 08 camelot tag. My wife is 5 ft. Nothing 110 lb. Bought her a new battery power grease gun an now she hardly complains. At 68 years young still doing a good job. She can ride the creeper from end to end never touch! I built a 3’ by6” deep trough in the back half of the concrete slab just so I could change the oil and filter!
  23. Guess I’m lucky Richard mine drips down the drivers window,ha Tommy
  24. Bob , the condensate fills the little plastic tray up then runs over on the roof then down the side. Turn AC off and all water runs down the tube like it should! Just doesn’t seem to drain when AC is running. Been doing this since I owned it,10 years.Thought someone may have seen the same problem before. Thanks TommyL
  25. Steve another way to check correct volume of Freon. I let my unit set overnight to let the Freon equalize. High and low will be same psi. Put a thermometer next to Freon hose, your trying to get the temp of the Freon ,read temp and pressure at arkema .com chart. Match your temp to chart ,if you’re psi. Is close at least Freon volume isn’t your problem. This works wether you have a 2or 10 lb system.I’m just a do it yourselfer so take it for what it’s worth .TommyL
