Intellitec Relay

Is it possible to replace one of the relays on the intellitec board? Last summer the rear air lost power from the board while I was on 50amp service. There was no power coming from the relay to the rear air. Everything works otherwise. It is a model 760.

anything is possible if you have the knowledge and tools 🙂

If the relay is simply soldered to a PCB board, then unsolder it and clean the board and solder a new one on.

How do you know it's the relay that is bad?

Making that determination is the harder part.  replacing it is the easy part.

I have replaced relays on various boards. Some are tricky to unsolder, but with the right tools, not too bad.

Well I just thought that was the cheaper way to try a new relay. other wise its buy a new board. being that everything else is working and no faults from the board it is probably a bad relay.

When you remove the board to replace the relay, check the printed circuit runs leading to the relay. I have had the AC go inop and when I went to replace the relay the high current of the AC  had caused the solder connections on the relay to fail and burn the copper runs.
