Surprise box under sink??

All, 

     Any help would be great... I removed the on demand hot water unit from under the sink.  While under there, I saw a large silver plastic box mounted on the wall.  I could not see any wires or plumbing going to it.  Anyone know what this might be?  It is not accessible by any other means than from under the sink.

Our coach has the sub-wolfer under the kitchen sink.  It is mounted to the outside wall.

That is the area where our sub woofer is mounted too.

Stop the replies.... you are correct... after I saw the DW’s pictures, it says SONY on the box.  I couldn’t see the word in the dark.
