Guest Steven Posted June 17, 2021 Share Posted June 17, 2021 My 04 Windsor has developed a knocking and sound and feel in the steering column just under the steering wheel. jacwjames Posted June 17, 2021 Share Posted June 17, 2021 There could be an issue in the front axle and steering linkage, you would feel it all the way up the steering column. Also, there are 3 zerk fittings that require greasing, all are not easy to get to. There are two accessible from underneath, a slip joint and U-joint.
