WinCinti
I purchased two food grade steel barrels to store diesel in while I have my tank repaired from a 96 Monaco Windsor. It has leakage from a weld failure. the barrels look nice and clean. Can I pump diesel directly into bro then with transfer pump or do I need a liner? I don't want to foul my 100 gals of diesel. Naturally I had a 3/4 tank when I discovered leak.
Nevada Rob
I am not sure what you would line it with? Common plastic sheet may react with the diesel. I would use very strong degreaser, wash them out, let dry a few days then put you fuel in them. Just a thought.
Dr4Film
Are they new or used?
redstickbill
When I had to clean my fuel tank on my 04 Endeavor I used clean barrels, I added a filter to the discharge of the transfer pump, both emptying and refilling the fuel tank, never had a problem.
