snoracer
What is a good RV specific app. Google maps is good, but it is set up for cars only. I need something that will allow me to enter in the size of my coach etc.
Ron Van Arsdall
The TruckMap app will allow you to input your rigs specs to keep you from hazards

snoracer
Actually, I'm looking for an app for my phone. Buying another piece af equipment is not what I want to do at this time.
JJMonaco
https://copilotgps.com It’s not free, but it works sooooo much better than RV trip wizard-RV gps map for your phone in my opinion.
Martinvz
Try the trucker app called Hammer. It is free to use and so far I have not received any freight calls.
Scotty Hutto
I tried copilot for a while, but ended up purchasing a dedicated Garmin
Steve P
RV Life Trip Wizard app hands down. The built-in GPS is super and usable for direct-to destinations, or for each leg of a pre-planned trip you've stored in the app. Use the free trial period as extensively as you can, and then make your own decision. I wouldn't leave home without it. And the maps are automatically up to date with no effort on your part. You can always use Google maps for backup and traffic checks. My wife is especially helpful doing this...
1nolaguy
We used Google maps but decided to invest in a Garmin 890. It is such a pain compared to GM I went back. Will try those mentioned above, but IMO if you are a regular user of GM do not waste your money on the Garmin 890. It will frustrate you to tears. Jim Pratten
We navigate with Copilot and use the Garmin Denzel to monitor roadway info it offers. When we near our arrival location, we close the Copilot and open Google Maps in satellite view.
