Day-Nite Shades

Hi Gang:

I have a 2005 Dynasty Diamond IV. One of the strings on my day-nite shade broke. The shade is located on the passenger side over the couch in the living room.

I am having difficulty in try to remove the valance in order to get to the blind. I found brackets and removed the screws in the four corners of the valence, however it still will not come down. Are there any other brackets holding the valence in place and how do I get to them?

You should be able to remove the blind from the window side of it without removing the valance. The attached picture is one of three mounting points on the window side of the shade. This is assuming you have the same type as I do.

Tim, that's the same as my Signature. I also had a broken string replaced but I'm having a problem with a slight unevenness when lowered.
