  1. @96 EVOwell durn. It's been a while since I've been in the dash, but I know RCA cables are used a lot w my Alladin. I wonder if there's a splitter and adapter for you?
  2. @96 EVO the wires in the back are RCA wires, so just a RCA splitter is all needed.
  3. This is my setup. I removed the magnadyne and enlarged the hole for a Kenwood. I added a splitter from my camera feed to keep an eye on my toad. I still have to lean to the R a little to see the Aladdin but I don't mind and I have a Scangauge just below my Aladdin. My phone works either via BT or Android Auto (Samsung guy here). But I believe I read if you contact Magnadyne there may be a BT adapter?
  4. @tmw188 when I switched to res in my coach, personally I avoided Samsung bc of 2 Samsung fridges I had issues w at my home. Went w GE and so far, so good.
  5. I would add if you buy a vehicle w a warranty, make sure that flat towing or required mods will not void that warranty.

  7. Ray, I haven't covered much mountainous terrain at this point in my life yet to give you true feedback, but I haven't had problems with it yet. I took my dad fishing in AR and that was likely the most grades I've experienced, w no issues. You need to make sure it's adjusted properly.
  8. One thing to add would be how do you plan on using it? My toad is my daily driver so I went w new when I bought it and set it up for towing myself. If this is only gonna be used as a toad, I'd go used personally and find one of the most reliable ones (Jeep or CRV) that fits your lifestyle. If you wanna get off the beaten path a little, can't beat a Wrangler. I towed my Wrangler then traded for this Gladiator as it suits me better. The Wrangler was a good toad. Let me add that your type of towing may influence you. I chose a ready brute Elite 2 for its simplicity w surge brakes and have been happy. And I ordered a Rock Hard 4x4 bumper for towing and added a winch. Actually took it off the Wrangler and put it on the Gladiator. Wiring is setup trailer style. No charging system for me (yet)
  9. @Tom Cherry thanks for the update. I'm thrilled to accept this unofficial reward. Lol. As far as posting a pic, i have a 2006 Diplomat 40dst. @Coach JWhich model Dip do you have? My gfci is in the main bath vanity. Added 2 pics. It's the one the little heater is plugged in to.
  10. It's always possible someone replaced a GFCI outlet w a regular one either bc they got tired of it tripping or they were in a bind and never went back to the GFCI. Which model Dip do you have?

  12. My 06 Dip has a GFCI in the rear bathroom and I believe another outside just above the radiator. But your description reminds me of when our house was struck by lightning. A GFCI got fried and you could reset that breaker but it kept tripping til the GFCI outlet was replaced. If your inverter pins won't stay pushed in and there's no loads, something may be wrong w a breaker, outlet, or even wiring. With all power shut off, including inverter, I'd start at the breakers.
  13. Other than tightening the bolts from the inside, I don't think there is much maintenance on these. Periodically use an AC coil cleaner and water hose to clean dirt and debris from the fins. Use low pressure to avoid damaging the fins and there may be some water that drips inside so a protective tarp under it would be good.
  14. @BRBowers I'm new to this and am interested in seeing what the others say but my vote is the tech didn't know what he was talking about. If my Diplomat does, surely your Camelot is supposed to. @Tom Cherry likely has good info here.
  15. I've had this issue before. When I bought my coach my alternator didn't charge the house batteries either. I found the isolator relay delay had failed for one so I replaced it. Still didn't work. I don't know the source of the blue wire voltage by mine never went above 12.2V. I figured dirty contacts. The chassis voltage stud read equal or greater than 13.2V when the engine is running so i tied into that stud and that works fine. Later I had to replace the trombetta (and used the one w silver contacts) all working well.

  17. Steve, Here's the link to my thread on my fridge. I went GE after not great Samsung experiences at homes. I also replaced my 2 12V marine batteries w 4: 6V Trojan t105 AGM batteries and have been pleased. I don't boondock much though.
  18. Before I knew better, I'd lift min on jacks and crawl around working on it. Then one night, I parked, had slides out, released air, and then leveled on my hydraulic jacks. All seemed good and I stepped outside as the Nason park brake switch failed and the jacks thought my park brake was off and retracted the jacks on empty air bags so fast it would have crushed anyone. After that, I vowed not to go back under without proper support.
  19. We bought a zinus brand on kine for ours and started happy. Last year it seemed to have firmed up. Added a $200 topper from Dillard's and its fantastic!

  23. Sounds exciting! Good luck. Most people say not more than 300 miles per day or like to be stopped by 3pm if driving a lot. May want to check campgrounds as many stay booked a lot more than they used to. Good luck!
  24. @Dick Robertsthat's horrible that CW did that. Personally, I'd stay far away from CW all over the country. I think most would agree w me. I'd hold them to that issue they caused. See if there are other places near you that can check it out. Talin RV doesn't do chassis work, just house work. Check the link above for details from their website. I have a local truck and diesel shop for my chassis work and there are some local RV shops near me that do some or all. Where do you go in 2 weeks?
  25. Does he have 4 12V for just the house batteries? Or 2 12 V for house and 2 for chassis? I don't think ive seen someone have 4 12V for the house, but I'm sure they are out there. My coach would need a bigger battery bay for those. The PO of my coach had 2 12V deep cycle marine for the house, but they were bad. I feel they did no boondocking and used the genny a lot. I changed to 4 6V Trojan t105 AGMs for more capabilities. Had to do some wiring and spent more money that way, but I preferred to have more boondocking options.
