  1. Sorry guys, my mistake in identifying, that's why it's important to include a picture, thanks for the correction and replies. Jim
  2. After 22 years, time to replace backup light on 2000 Monaco Signature so I'm looking for a source. The rubber around the lights is in very poor condition and trying to remove the lights now without a replacement in hand would cause destruction of existing rubber seal which I don't want to do. Also, did Monaco attach that light panel with the oversize rivets or was that done by previous owner. Yes, upside but you get the idea. Jim
  3. I don't know if your still in Redding but a couple of years ago with my ISM I had a major electrical break down and was recommended to A&N Diesel LLC who works on Monaco and Beaver Coach. Name is Steve Ashe # 530 221 0460. We were on a trip through California, he dropped his other jobs and spent a week sourcing and repairing. I was surprised at his invoice, much lower than expected. Might be worth a try.
  4. One of my things to fix this spring. When I got it, it was slow to extend or retract, now when I push the toggle it just clicks. I can look under the switch panel and see a relay operating but I'm not sure what the real problem is.
  5. A timely article. Mine just started leaking and dripping on the inverter. For now I have been covering the inverter with a large plastic bag to keep the water off until I can find the leak. Ivan, I'm assuming that our layout would be the same so I will check under the bath sink. Jim
  6. I tow a Chevrolet 2500 HD 4X4 (7200#) with no swaying or adverse tire wear. The nice thing about the GM line, you can remove the front tow hooks and replace them with a tow bar attaching points, 4 bolts and your done. 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 Base Plate for Tow Bar | etrailer.com
  7. I'm not well versed in much of anything but, when I had and still occasionally have this problem, pushing the reset button next to the indictor light and holding it until the light blinks rapidly will usually solve the problem. It's in the Magna operators manual. .
  8. On mine, lifting the bed then the engine cover, it's to your right.
  9. Same with mine. If GFI is tripped which happened when I ran over the extension cord with the zero turn mower, my battery maintainer will also be off line.
  10. Okay, I've been laughed at before but, mine would also shut down after 20 minutes if just sitting on the desk top. An occasional shake would wake it up for another 20 minutes then off again, But if driving and the Mobley was laying on the counter top, it would never go to sleep, vibration keeping it awake? So just for the heck of it, I taped it to a small fan, turned the fan on low and it stays connected 24/7. I've been told on another RV forum that there is nothing inside the Mobley that would shake it awake and that the fan had nothing to do with it's staying on. As they say, works for me!
  11. Follow up: After 3 gallons of anti-freeze, repair line to expansion tank and a new pressure cap, all is good! Thanks all for the help. Jim
  12. Thanks Walter, for the time I’ve owned the coach I never noticed that the tubing had separated from the fill neck because it was still held in place by a small remnant of itself. Also checking the pressure cap nearly all rubber inside the cap was missing so I doubt that it was possible to have built any pressure. It will be interesting to see how much anti-freeze I will need to fill the AQ tank.
  13. Thanks Richard, you said it all in your first line. My Aqua Hot is of the 431 series and does not have zone lights or low fluid level cut off switch. Roger Berke replied to check fluid level and the good part (not known to me) is that the early 431 series uses everyday anti freeze like prestone. Big money saver there. Jim
  14. Checked out Rogers page and suprised to see I had signed up some time ago🙂. Thanks again!
  15. Thanks Paul for the link to Roger Berke.
  16. Thanks David. Burner is running good, exhaust is clean and water is HOT. Only zone A heating seems to have a problem (living room supply) and its check valve is not as hot as B & C. Now to determine how much fluid is in the tank. As mentioned before, the expansion tank return line was not and has not been connected to the over flow on the tank neck for a long period of time so a lot of fluid may have been lost there. Jim
  17. The burner unit was serviced a little over a year ago and all check valves are hot when running. The one thing I’m not sure about is the amount of fluid in the AQ itself or how to check it.
  18. I've had my coach now for a few years and noticed that the expansion tank level is always between cold and hot markings, never changes. This week, I replaced the expansion tank return hose which had been separated from the filler neck and replaced the 13# pressure cap then filled the expansion tank to the full mark. After a couple hours running and a cool down period there was no change is the expansion tank level. So now what? As far as hot showers and other running water goes, my vintage Aqua Hot AHE-100 series works great although I can't say much about the floor vents. The rear seem weak, the mid-ship works great and the front are hardly noticeable. Thanks, Jim E.
  19. Let me add my appreciation and thanks! Jim
  20. I use Awning Clamp from Camping World on my full side slide out. https://www.ganderoutdoors.com/rv-awning-clamp---black-35766.html?gclid=31be26ba8e4c1578824179fd2c78ab5a&gclsrc=3p.ds&
  21. Hmmmm, I'll have to take a harder look. I just installed a dishwasher and did not see one near kitchen sink. Jim
  22. Thanks gjh, so far this is the only one I've found but having a spare on board would be a good idea. Jim
