  1. 1) The front seal on my 400 ISL engine is leaking. It drips oil very slowly. My RV sat in the garage over the winter months and there was a small spot on the floor beneath the front of the engine. How serious is this leaking to the long term "health" of the engine? Should I have it replaced or leave it till the leak is worse? 2) The front seal on the Allision 3000 transmission is leaking as well. It is also a small leak. The is a small area on the floor beneath it that the fluid has leaked. Can I continue to operate the RV without replacing these seals? Any advice from you guys would be appreciated. 2. There is a great site for troubleshooting your Aqua-Hot or Hydro-Hot system. Roger Berke operates it. The site is unbelievably helpful as is Roger. It has been a while since I have need to use it, but I believe it is still on-line. 3. Working well on Hotmail. Thanks for keeping this site healthy! Bob
  4. I have a failed speed control as well. I suppose it is the resistor pack that is the problem. The 3rd speed works. However, the heater fan is terribly noisy. The bearings must be failed. I need to get to the fan and cannot see how to get to it to remove it and replace it. I have removed the drawers that are on the passenger side of the dash and the cover for the AH blower at the bottom of the center console but can see no attachment points for the dash itself. Has anyone accessed this fan on a 2005 Dynasty? If so, I would sure appreciate some guidance. I have looked for the resistor pack and have not been able to locate it either. I looked around the AC evaporator on the outside firewall and didn't see any wiring that may have been attached to the resistors. I hate to destroy the dash and surrounds by trying to access the blower. Bob R 2005 Dynasty Countess lll
  5. My G2000 awning will not extend using the electric motor. I can manually extend the awning and it will retract using the motor drive. Has anyone experienced this problem? If so how was the problem solved?
  6. I removed the accumulator and plugged the water supply line some 8 years ago. The new water pump I installed (the original failed) regulates the pressure and flow so there is no need for the accumulator.
  7. A friend stored his RV outside. Eventually the air horns failed. We found that the horns themselves were plugged up by dirt dobber nests. We sprayed water into the outlet of the horns, washed the nests out, removed the horn diaphrams and cleaned them. After reassembly the horns worked once more. Bob Raffety 2005 Monaco Dynasty
  8. I had a similar problem and found that the wire connecting the 12 V to the solenoid had loosened. The horn worked sometimes and other times not. Bob Raffety 2005 Dynasty
  9. I’ll join the fellows admiring Paul’s expertise. I also purchased the control board about a year ago. It continues to function perfectly. If anyone is having a problem with the toilet operation this fix will probably take care of the issue.
  10. I have never seen or heard of this happening in a Class A. It really makes you wonder just how some manufacturers are building their coaches now days. Check out this complete failure. https://www.facebook.com/SusanvilleCHP/photos/pcb.1236644723338926/1236644336672298/?type=3&theater I experienced the same situation with a pickup truck. The dealership replaced the engine and to make the install easier they lifted the cab and the truck bed from the chassis. When they replaced the cab and truck bed they installed the bolts to secure these parts to the chassis (6 bolts) but did not screw them into the nuts that connected them to the chassis. My cab would shift from one side of the other when I turned a corner. I think they were embarrased when I retured the truck for corrective measures. Bob Raffety 2005 Dynasty
  11. Chuck called yesterday and is shipping the bolts to me by UPS today. Thanks to everyone for the help with this. Tom, Thanks for sharing this information. It all makes perfect sense. I didn't witness the original installation of these bands so I am looking forward to watching the installer when I have my new tires mounted. Now I'll know a lot more about what the process should be when the bands are reinstalled.
  12. I received a new control module for my OPUS toilet from Paul Wittle this past weekend. It is an excellent replacement for the original module. All functions performed perfectly. The module is a direct replacement for the original. All wiring connections were identical and located in the same location as the original. Paul also provided a short cable to extend the original connecting cable carrying the limit switches and water control wiring. Thi required connectors were included on the cable. This is an excellent replacement if you are having trouble with your control board. Paul’s contact information is included within this thread. If you have any questions about this Module please contact me. rraffety@hotmail .com
  13. I purchased the emergency kit when I was at the gathering in 2019. The kit did not contain the extra bolts. I’ll contact Chuck to see if he can give me the specs or sell me the bolts. Thanks for the information.
  14. I have Tyron Bands installed on my steer wheels. If I need to replace the clamping bolts when I install new tires what size of bolt and how many do I need to stock? Bob Raffety 2005 Dynasty Countess lll
  15. I have considered changing my user name as well. Maybe a lot of us would like to do this. Can an "edit" function be added to the settings page?
