  1. If you are in the Tampa area try WadeRV accrssories. They are located at Lazydays. http://www.waderv.com/upholstery.html
  2. Scotty, Do you think it would be beneficial to have a separate category just for batteries as well? I see it's in the 'electrical' section but there always seems to be a lot of discussions specific to battery types and brands. This is going to be one of my highlights of having to replace all 8 of my house batteries now so of course I'm looking for all the pros and cons of flooded (which I have 8 Interstates now), no maintenance and AGM's
  3. OK, We are in site 201. I think it may be to small though to fit on my F-150. I'll check with Paul Osman. He owns a Ford dealership in Ga. and is with us.
  4. Steven, I tried using one of my GoPro's for a dash camp once in my F-150 and it shut down in about 20 min due to getting over heated in the sun. I had no problem with them being on top (outside) recording scenic drive videos because I thing the moving air probably cooled them down. When I pulled the GoPro off of the windshield after it shut down it was so hot I couldn't hold it in my hand. Of course this was in late April in sunny Florida when I was trying to record all the Love Bugs smushing on the windshield, Right now I'm using a Rexall dash camera in our coach and when it's in storage I move the camera to my truck for daily driving. Any camera you do decide may work for you be sure to check the specs as to how much heat it can tolerate.
  5. Doug, My swivel cable broke at the lever and I was able to order a complete replacement from ' COACH SUPPLY DIRECT ' out of Edwardsburg, Mi. they can be reached at 800-589-7251. It was $35 plus $13 shipping. Josh was very helpful. The other lever/cable for the seat back appears to be frozen but I know that one is going to be a LOT tougher to replace. I may just try and but a replacement cable assy , is case they go out of stock, and hang on to it until I decide to reupholster the seats sometime in the future. I just pulled up their website and found the link that will get you to the cables: https://www.coachsupplydirect.com/rv-products/rv-seating-parts/ . Talk with Josh, you may have to send him a photo of what you're looking for as there are several different styles. Hope this helps.
  6. Hmmm now that's interesting. I'll have to learn more about those. I'm curious as to how they are locked on. Thanks for posting.
  7. Mel, My diesel fuel fill pipe has a plain threaded cap so I don't know how you could have a locking cap without some modification to it. I suspect the one you have the photo of is for a gas filler tube that has a lip on the inside for it to catch on.
  8. Ivan, That's probably a pretty good assumption. This is what's behind those two bay doors and it's the drivers side that can't be locked. Kind of funny they even bothered putting a lock in the small access door on the drivers side. 🙂 Thanks Mel. Yeah, the only chrome ones I could find are for the entrance door. No big deal, I suppose it is safer to leave it unlocked. Thanks Mel. Yeah, the only chrome ones I could find are for the entrance door. No big deal, I suppose it is safer to leave it unlocked.
  9. What's strange on our coach is the the passenger side fuel bay door has locks taking two different keys but the driver's side only has a key lock for the small fuel door and the large bay door isn't lockable. Oh, and all 3 of those locks have to be manually locked, unlike all the other bay doors which lock electronically with the Key Fob.
  10. OK, Thanks Bob. I checked with my friend who sells Fords and he didn't think it would fit. Do you have the mfg name of it? I might be able to check to see if it may be designed to fit several different models. If it's just for an Edge then it'll probably be to small.
  11. Scotty, is there a reason why there has to be a time limit for allowing a posting to be edited? Just curious is all. I posted an item for sale and then wanted to add something to the description a couple of days later and discovered there was no way to edit it. Not a real big deal this time though. Mike
  12. I have a RoadMaster tow bar for sale. Asking $250. Towing my F-150 required me to purchase a new Blue Ox. It was previously used to tow a Ford Explorer. I can bring it to the Gathering in February or even bring it over to the Tampa Super Show in January 2021 or it can be picked up near Cocoa Beach, Florida.
  13. I am going to be in the same boat as my 8 flooded 6v house batteries are dated 2013. They have been maintained well as I keep them topped off every month with Di water and there is a Power Pulse connected to each 4 battery bank so they seem to be holding up for now. I just replaced my two 12v chassis batteries in September and am expecting I'll be having to replace all of the house batteries soon as they were all pretty much the same age as the chassis batteries. I would also be interested in the source of these 'inexpensive' Li batteries. Mike
