  3. Just returned from driving to friends rig. Turned out to be a bad salesman switch. Solenoids were good.
  4. Thanks Tom. I downloaded the 2001 dynasty wire diagrams. It shows the battery cutoff switches on page 57. Should be able to figure out my friends issue from that
  5. Wow. It really has 2? Have jumpered mine in the past. Driving to see him today. Will check the 2nd solenoid. Thanks
  6. Have a friend that has a 2001 dynasty.Only half of his 12 v in the coach is working . Awning, power seats are some of the things not working. He has checked all the fuses. Any thoughts as to what to check? Could it be a bad sales switch solenoid? I have asked him to jump it but he seems hesitant. Thanks Mike 2004 Dynasty
  7. 2004 Dynasty. Decided to check the Ac vents as it did not seem we were getting the proper air flow. Glad we did as we corrected all the old Silver tape that sealed the air vent tube. Pulled off all the old tape on each of the 12 vents and put on new silver tape resealing the tube at each location. Old and new pictures included. This old one was one of the better ones, others were much worse.
  8. I have read both files on adjusting the entry door. My bottom striker is very loose while the top striker is very tight. Both strikers have a head. Neither of the strikers will either loosen or tighten with a 1/2 rachet or open end wrench. I have not tried a breaker bar or an heavy duty air rachet. I have removed the door covering on the inside of the entry door to gain access to the back of the strikers. There is no access to the bottom striker without removing the sides of the entry step. The top striker however has a custom plate which I assume has a tapped hole to accommodate the striker bolt. Picture attached. Notice the bolt thru the steel piece in the middle of the 2 welded pieces attached to the door frame. I am assuming the piece has a threaded hoke that the striker bolt us attached to. Anyone see any issues in trying to use a breaker bar or heavyduty air rachet in trying to loosen/tighten the striker bolts? Thanks fir any ideas.
  9. Yes, just forgot to pack them thus trip They do make a difference in the appearance.
  10. Nope. I mean adding some bling to the existing ceiling using curved moldings lighting etc
  11. I guess you mean a black coating on the tires?
  12. No I bought the tracks from Sailrite. MCD has not made the wheel covers for a number of years.
  13. Installed all new tracks for the custom MCD wheel covers on our 04 Dynasty. The old ones were on their way out. The new ones work just great. Sun needs to warm them up to get rid of the wrinlkes.
  14. Thanks, yes all of that and I have the tools and knowledge to do it all. Just wondering if anyone else has attempted it and could share any issues they had. Like in newer coaches the entire thing would be hinged so it could be dropped for AC filter access. Not sure what effect it would have on the AC air distribution?
  15. We have the plain ceiling on or 2004 Dynasty. Has anyone updated the ceiling in our older coaches using a drop down cover with curved moldings, mirrors or lighting? AC issues? Thoughts and ideas? Thanks
  16. Email me your address. Bmulvenna@hotmail.com. Should be able to pack and send on Tuesday. Will let you know what shipping is. Thank you.
  17. We have upgraded our Rand GPS to a larger screen Garmin. The 7710 works just fine but we wanted a larger screen with the Garmin. $75 plus shipping. It has the manual, power adapter, and current maps loaded Picture attached.
  18. 2004 Dynasty Diamond 4 Just installed three new Dometic Penguins and their corresponding thermostat. Other than getting them on the roof it was a pretty easy install. One of the ACs was considerably louder than the other 2 By about 10 decibels. (Free Sound Decible Meter on Play Store) I pulled the outer shround, removed the styrofoam fan cover, and then the hard plastic fan cover. I could see where the squirrel cage was rubbing on the hard cover. Loosened the set screw holding the squirrel cage to the motor shaft, moved it in about 3/16 of an inch, tightened the set screw, reattached everything and no more noise caused by the squirrel cage rubbing on the shroud. Hopefully will help others with a similar issue.
